“I have used Welcome pickups for years and they are normally very reliable but last week they cancelled on me for an existing reservation indicating that they did not have available drivers. I was coming in on a ferry when I received the cancellation and it was very inconvenient. IMO, this should never happen.”

“Världens snällaste chaufför som var väldigt förstående när en olycka hände och vi var tvungna att vänta cirka 20 min innan vi kunde åka. Han höll lugnet och hjälpte oss vilket var väldigt tacksamt, samt att han kom i tid båda gångerna. Rekommenderar verkligen att åka med detta företag om ni vill ha bra service, genuina förare och vara ute i god tid!!”

“One hour before my plane landed in Cabo I received and email canceling my airport transfer. It stated they could not locate a driver. Too late for me to pre schedule alternative transportation. I would give zero stars if I could. Not the first time they have done this to me. January 2026 they did the same thing in Cabo. Left at the last minute without transportation. I complained then and they refunded the money and promised it would never happen again. Well, the very next time I got up the nerve to try them again they did it again. I will never use them again, DO NOT USE”

“1/5 – Completely Unreliable Service I would not recommend Welcome Pickups. We booked and paid for a premium airport transfer in Honolulu more than two weeks in advance, expecting a reliable service for our family of five travelling with a large amount of luggage. While we were in the air on our flight, they cancelled our booking, leaving us stranded on arrival with no alternative arranged. As a result, we had no choice but to pay expensive last-minute Uber surge pricing to get from the airport to the North Shore. To make matters worse, Welcome Pickups only refunded the first leg of our booking. They have kept payment for the return transfer, despite the fact that I have absolutely no intention of relying on them again after this experience. I am now forced to spend my holiday emailing customer support just to try to obtain a full refund. A premium service should provide reliability and peace of mind. Instead, this created unnecessary stress, additional expense, and a terrible start to our family holiday. I won’t be using Welcome Pickups again.”

“I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering Welcome Pickups — especially first-time visitors who don’t yet know the airport they’re landing in. I booked an airport pickup for the same reason most people do: arriving somewhere new, with luggage, wanting one part of the trip to be reliable and stress-free. That is the whole promise of this service, and it failed completely. My flight landed and I went through the completely normal arrival process — a slow deplaning, a shuttle bus transfer to the terminal, immigration, and baggage collection. None of this is in a passenger’s control, and all of it is exactly what an airport pickup is meant to account for. The entire time, I stayed in contact with my driver on WhatsApp. I greeted him, thanked him, told him I had landed and was on my way in, and at 11:25 I messaged him that I was collecting my luggage. He never replied. By the company’s own driver logs, the complimentary waiting window ended at 11:28, and I reached the exit at around 11:30. So they could not wait two minutes — even though I had told the driver, three minutes earlier, that I was standing at baggage claim and on my way out. It gets worse. At no point did the driver tell me he was leaving, that the waiting time was about to end, or that I should hurry. And at no point was I offered the chance to simply pay for a few extra minutes of waiting — something the company itself says is possible. Instead, the driver went silent, drove off, marked my booking a “no-show,” and I was refused any refund. Think about who actually relies on a pre-booked airport pickup: people in a rush, and first-time visitors who don’t know the terminal, the queues, or where the exit even is. Those are precisely the travelers this rigid “two minutes late and you’re abandoned” process punishes. A company that genuinely cared about its customers would have a driver who answers a message, gives thirty seconds of warning, or offers paid waiting before driving away and billing you for nothing. I will not use them again, and I’d urge anyone arriving somewhere unfamiliar to book a service that will actually be there when you walk out — because this one was not.”

“Welcome Pickups cancelled my confirmed private transfer from Hotel Villa Franca Positano to Naples Central Train Station at 00:30 on the day of pickup, less than 9 hours before the scheduled 09:30 ride. The booking had been confirmed weeks earlier, and they had even sent a driver-assignment email two days before pickup. Their cancellation email said there were no available drivers and offered only a refund/coupon, with no alternative transport or emergency help. This left me stranded hours before an important transfer. I would not rely on this company for time-sensitive travel.”

“The driver was very rude. I ordered the pickup from Athenes cruise terminal for 3 passengers, 3 suitcases and 2 carryons. There were 2 of us and the driver said that we will not fit as he has a small car. We had to take taxi instead. Then received a message that the trip was cancelled due to no show what is a false statement. I woukd not recommend to use their service !”

“Welcome pick-ups was reliable and well priced. We needed to change our pickup time last minute and they quickly assigned us a new driver who contacted us and ensured he knew our needs. Communication was excellent and they provided a van so our 5 passengers with luggage could travel together.”

“BAD experience. I booked a premium "Meet & Greet" at Fiumicino for a guest, but the driver failed to show up. He was incredibly slow to respond to my WhatsApp messages, and when he finally did, he claimed he sent a replacement. However, he gave me the wrong phone number for this new driver, creating total chaos. The paid service says that they will wait an hour in the airport for the person - based on our conversations, they didn't even wait more than ten minutes. To top it off, he blamed me for supposedly sending him to a different address. He changed his story multiple times, and making up inconsistent excuses. My guest was left stranded and stressed at the airport. Avoid at all costs. Booking #w-6473237-1”

“I booked the service for Athens airport to include a meet and greet so that I didn't have to find my way through a taxi line, find the driver, etc. I did not get the meet and greet and instead had to find my driver outside past the taxi's. The driver was very professional, great service; however had I wanted to manage my luggage I would have been better off getting a taxi (cheaper and less hassle).”
