My flight was delayed and driver cancelled, despite me sending messages to say the flight was late, and receiving messages back to say the driver would monitor arrival times. They took the money anyway. Very disappointing!

Left us stranded at the airport, but kept our money. Avoid if want to actually be picked up. Driver left us even though we were in contact and at the airport.

BEWARE!!!!Our driver was never there!!!! We called the phone # they gave us for him 3 times he never answered.. There were a lot of other companies picking up customers. I even walked outside to look for his car, checked with airport personnel to see if there was another location he could be at and there was not. 2 female senior citizens stuck at the airport. We had to find a cab to take us to our hotel and when we finally got a hold of customer service they said the driver left we weren't there. They would not refund our money, and then also had to pay another $125.00 to get to the hotel. Do not book with this company

My wife and I arrived in Nassau today. I booked a sedan for 2 people and 3 bags. My driver was identified as Erica, with a picture, her car description and tags. When we landed, I received a WhatsApp message from "John" with Big Momma Taxi. When I sent Erica a WhatsApp, she stated I should meet John at the arrival door. We met John, and he was very friendly. He called a driver and he said it would be around 7 minutes. This was not a problem, nut when he took us to our "ride", it not only wasn't Erica, it wasn't a sedan. It was an old, multi-person van for 15-20 people that was rusted in several spots and had soiled, dirty seats. Not only do I not think it was worth the $62 I paid for this, when I canceled my return trip, I was only refunded 80% of my pre-paid fee. I will not recommend this service to anyone and I won't use it again.

I gave my name as “Daniel”. March 14, around 3:40pm. Yellow taxi From T1 to T3. I was charged P474. The I gave P500 bill. The driver did not gave a receipt. He also took the paperwork the desk attendant gave to me. 1) The driver kept on asking questions that have nothing to do with the destination where he will drop me. 2) He did not leave me a receipt or whatever paperworks showing his name, taxi number, etc. 3) He asked the P26 change as tip. The passenger must be the one to initiate it.

The ride was booked for a transfer from the Manila Airport to a hotel in Makati. The car and driver we booked was a no show, so another car was sent. It turns out that both the car originlly scheduled and the replacememt car were Grab cars. I paid 29 euros online but the driver that picked us up was showing 410 pesos or 7 euros in the Grab app. Total rip off.

I have been travelling around the world for over 30 years, and had various challenging experiences with taxi drivers/transport. This was easily my worst experience ever. Ever. Welcome Pickups were recommended by the hotel we booked in Athens. Their app provides a sense of a professional set up, whereby in their own words, they 'hand pick' trusted, English-speaking drivers. So great you think. We get picked up, and the fun begins. As we get into the car, the driver tells us not to worry about seat belts, to just 'relax'. What he actually means by this, as we leave the airport and slowly realise after an early start and flight, is that the front passenger seat belt does not work. The aircon in the car did not work either, though again he insisted we didn't need it. The next 45 min or so drive really is the airport pick up from hell. This madman decides to continuously hand hold his phone to text and phone people constantly, whilst the car drifts into neighbouring lanes. He also regularly exceeded speed limited at various points in this journey. His sole intention in all of this is to then somehow make us believe that we would want to use his service again, for a sunset tour, and a return in his disfunctional car to the airport. He insisted we book a return directly with him, and not through Welcome Pickups. He is so intent on securing further bookings from him, that at one point he is 'driving' in busy Friday afternoon traffic in Athens whilst showing me pages from a book about the history of the city. I will spare you the details of his attempt to play a DVD in the car, at full blast, for our apparent benefit. 43 years as a tour/taxi driver can sometimes teach you very little. The lives and safety of my family, including 2 children, were completely at risk with this driver. Welcome Pickups need to take responsibility for this, and not hide behind their carefully crafted legal disclaimers. They need to also actually explain how on earth this driver and his belt free car was 'hand picked' for this service. I cannot wait to hear how the vetting process works here with what I can only describe as the taxi driver equivalent of Mad Max. I have posted this review elsewhere. Welcome Pickups responded by suggesting I complaints department, which was basically an insult to my intelligence and experience here. Contacting this department puts you in touch with 'Jimmy', which of course is not the identity of the person you are speaking to. Welcome Pickups needs to provide a clear identity and role of the person spoken to in these serious circumstances. These employees operating under the bro-like name of Jimmy also need more appropriate training. It is extremely patronising of 'Jimmy' to apologise for our 'negative experience' and 'inconvenience' when our lives were so at risk at the hands of this complete madman.

DRIVER NEVER SHOWED UP. Received my confirmation email but never received info on the driver. Tried to contact them via email / chat / phone, but NOTHING worked. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. It amazes me how a company this bad is still in business.

Showed up over an hour late, long after we left the airport in Santiago. Totally awful service! Only hope we can get a refund. Not to be trusted.

I cannot recommend this company, I ordered a minibus/van for transportation, specifically added information that I had a lot of luggage and a bike. When we arrived, no car were waiting, and after 30 minutes a small car came that had no space for all our luggage. We had to take an ordinary taxi, and now they will not give a refund. I cannot recommend this company to anyone in Grand Canaria - they are cheeting and their contact and follow up is not recomendable - stay away.....

I used Welcome last year in Bangkok and it worked perfectly. This year I wanted to book for a group of 9 almost six months in advance and got a message that said: Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from 12:30 to 14:30 on 27 Jul 2024, due to high demand. Please, select a different time or consider other transportation options. Have a wonderful stay in Bangkok. Haha. WHY can't they hire more drivers if they know that 6 months in advance a transfer from DMK to BKK (1 hour) is not possible?????? Cynthia

I booked a taxi because I needed to be on time at train station to travel another city for funeral. My flight landed at 10:35 am and driver arrived 10:11 am. My train was at 10:35 and driver dropped me at station at 10:34 am. I loose my train because of him and was not able to attend funeral because of him. Worst experience, recommend get a taxi outside but not this. I have already sent them a mail to give back my money but not responding.

I had a reservation almost a month prior our trip to Tenerife. It was cancelled 1 minute after(!) the agreed pickup time. I was with my family, 3 kids, so it was pretty inconvenient to figure out our travel immediately. Good thing they offered a 15€ coupon from a next trip, I am most probably won't use it as I don't think I can trust in them after this.

Warning, it is a trap. You pay to them, but nobody will be there for your pickup. You will lose your money because no any reachable customer service, just automated messages.. More thousand paid fake reviews!!!

Very disappointed. When I signed up for this I was told we would be met at arrival area by driver holding a sign with my name on it. At the last minute (in the morning as I was leaving for airport) I was, for the first time, asked about my baggage and then informed that my baggage, that literally fit in a Prius, was “oversized “ and I had to pay $16 more. When I arrived, I received a text from the driver asking if I knew where the pickup area was. Turned out I had to get my bags from baggage claim and carry them across two traffic lanes. When I got there, still no one with a sign with my name (other drivers there with signs for other passengers). Only after I texted”we’re here” did someone get out of a car and look around for us. Next time I’ll use a ride share, save over $100, and do the same amount of work getting my bags to the ride.

This is a trap! They don't notify you at the booking stage about the impossibility of cancellation. Nowhere do they write that the amount is non-refundable. They say that I checked the box, therefore I agreed to their terms, which were described on 100 pages. On the day of the trip, I fell ill with a high fever, about which I wrote to them and asked for a refund. They refused and said that there would be no refunds. The customer service is terrible, they are not accommodating EVEN under the pretext of illness and the inability to travel in a taxi with a high fever and cough.

I booked a transfer from the airport in Rio de Janeiro to my hotel. The driver did not arrive at the scheduled time and the person meeting me kept telling me that we would be there in 5 - 10 minutes. That continued for 25 minutes, at which time I called an Uber and was on my way in 3 minutes. Now they are fighting me about giving me a refund, stating that their Terms of Service give the driver an hour past the scheduled time to arrive. I reviewed their Terms of Service on their website and there is nothing on there that states that.

Driver got time wrong and didn't show. I reserved a driver from Welcome PIckups for 2:50 AM for an airport run. The driver did not show. I called him and he said he was scheduled for 12 hours later. Accordingly, I had to flag down a taxi at 3 AM and pay him to take me to the airport. I did not make the original reservation for 14:50, but I made it for 2:50 AM. In Europe military time is used, so 2:50 is always 2:50 AM. The Welcome Pickups system changed it to 14:50. That was not my fault. However when requested to refund my $25, they refused. I had to dispute this charge with my credit card company. I would not recommend Welcome Pickups. Date of experience: October 30, 2023

My email from Welcome Pickups said the driver would be in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with my name. The driver had NO sign and was not where all the other drivers were waiting. It took about 20 minutes to find him. I had to ask him who he was since he had no sign or badge. When we got to his car it was very small and my 1 bag barely fit in the back. The car smelled like cigarettes and very unpleasant so I had to have the window down .....it was quite chilly. The whole point of paying more than double what uber would be was to make landing and getting to my hotel in a foreign country easy and without stress. This was the opposite experience. To return to the airport I hired uber at under 1/2 the price, in a nice car with no odor issues.
