Horrible experience with this company. Booked a ride from the Naples airport to our hotel and then canceled within a few minutes when we saw that the wait for the driver was over a half an hour and that there were taxis readily available. I canceled both online and then I called and spoke directly with the driver and told him we would not need the ride. He said that was fine, no problem. About 25 minutes later I received several emails from the company saying that my driver was waiting for us at the airport and then that he left the airport when we “failed to show up” and that they were charging us $75. I am now going to have to dispute the charge. What a hassle. I’d look for other options.

I've had good experiences of WP around the world, but had terrible experiences with them in Bogota: drivers who don't show up and send some random friend in their place. Then when you make a complaint, they contact you direct to ask what the problem is. On top of that, WP then assign the same unreliable driver for the next job. Avoid them at all costs.

Do Not Use. Read the other 1star reviews. Terrible. Cancelled our pickup to the Cabo Mx airport 3 hours before pick up. Prepaid reservation made more than a month ahead of time and confirmed 48 hours before pick up. Left scrambling in Mexico to arrange alternative transportation which was very stressful and much more expensive at the last minute. Totally unreliable. Will not use again.

DON'T BOOK, TOTAL SCAM!! Pre-booked and paid for a ride from Cartagena, COL airport to my hotel. They said the driver will wait an hour after you land. It is WELL known that it Always takes More than an hour to go thru customs (which I didn't know at the time)!! The driver left and I prepaid in order to book the ride. Order an Uber outside the airport instead. It came in 2 mins and it was Less than 1/2 the price!!

2 bad experiences in 3 days. First, our transfer was cancel during the fly. So, after landing in Montevideo we find out that we have no transfer. We took a taxi for x3 normal price (It was 25.12 😅). Second, 28.12 the driver didn’t come to pick us from the hotel. Once again we had to take a Taxi. This time for x2 price (Sunday 😅). Finaly what do you think about this transfer App???

Our driver did not meet us , we were met by a Norges taxi . Had I been travelling on my own as a woman I would not have used the taxi. No communication about the change in arrangements. The driver did not have a Welcome notice , just a card with my name on it. The car was not clean and my seat belt did not work properly. No help with luggage. Certainly have now deleted the welcome app. Be careful when booking , expensive in my opinion.

We were contacted by their driver thru WhatsApp and told he would be at the airport to pick us up. When our flight was delayed over four hours we did everything we could to contact him and he did not respond. Then the company unknowingly changed drivers and when we weren't there on time he left and we were not pickup when we did arrive and no compensation was given to us. It was their problem changing drivers without telling us then they blame us. If for some reason you miss your pick up you are just out of luck. After multiple emails it is obvious we will not be reimbursed. Don't use this service.

I used Welcome Pickups to go from Bodrum, Turkey to Fathiye, Turkey and everything went very smoothly. A few days later, I had booked another pick up from Fathiye to Antalya, a 3 hour drive. I had to get to Antalya by 12 noon for a tour that I had booked. I was supposed to be picked up at 8 o’clock in the morning. At 7:30 on the morning of the scheduled pick up, I noticed an email (thank God I checked) that had been sent at 7:15 am, 45 minutes before my scheduled pick up that they were unable to find a driver for me and they canceled my trip. They didn’t know the night before that they wouldn’t be able to find a driver? This company is very unreliable and I won’t use them again.

Paid fee up front for pick up in Istanbul. We thought all would be okay even though our flight was 20 minutes late because welcome pick ups says that they monitor flight delays. However they start your 1 hour grace period when your plane lands, not when it arrives at the gate, our plane took an extra 20 minutes for us to taxi to the gate and deplane, their time clock should start only when plane is at the gate. Welcome pickups also changed our driver on us, so when we connected with the assigned driver we were informed of this change but had no contact information for the new driver until we were able to get internet and find the email. We were never contacted by the new driver. We arrived 2 minutes after the 1 hour grace period our pick up had been cancelled and welcome pick ups kept our payment, not even a partial refund. They use Uber and taxi drivers and if you end up with a driver change beware, the communication is lacking and they will keep your money.

Do Not use this company, Not only are they overpriced , double that of a regular Taxi ,getting a straight answer from them is impossible. we were delayed at Paris airport , we were in contact with the driver the whole time explaining the situation, when we finally got through after about 1hr 15mins, within 5 mins of telling the driver he stated that he had already left the airport. We have been in contact with so many different "CUSTOMER SUPPORT" people all saying something different, whilst we were offered a voucher it is of little use to us after the fact. All communication with the driver via What's App MESSAGES have also been provide numerous times.

While messaging the driver ahead of the ride, the booking got cancelled, and despite contacting the customer service immediately to resolve the incident, no service was provided, neither a refund nor an option to rebook on another date were provided. I would define this as a theft to a customer

Do not use at any cost. i booked for 3 adults and a baby seat, turns up in a sedan, no baby seat! There was no way 3 large suitcases would fit his boot. Then complains as we did have a babys case also and cancels this booking, with me footing the 80 euro bill and just leaving us with no way of getting to the airport. We had to pay double that for a peak hour taxi. Disgusting service. Dont trust them.

This company is very unprofessional. I booked it to have a safe car seat for my 10 month old for the approx 1 hour journey after a long haul flight. The driver showed up with NO baby seat, was 15 minutes late and didnt come into the airport to meet us. Wouldnt recommend at all.

I booked two transfers to and from airports in Buenos Aires. I got a better price elsewhere, about half the price. When I cancelled Welcome charged me 20% of the booking price. I am booking 6 months ahead of travel date. There is no reason to charge me for cancelling. There is nothing spelled out on the website. But even with the 20% cancellation penalty I am still paying much less than quoted by Welcome.

We were supposed to be picked up at 12:00 in Athens on August 1, 2025. We sent numerous WhatsApp messages and received no response. Two hours later we received a message that the driver said that he was there but in a parking lot outside the airport, not at the designated meeting point. He sent a picture showing that he arrived at the pickup point in the Arrivals Hall at 1:01, over an hour later than scheduled, Meanwhile , we got a taxi. Company says that there would be no refund because he did come, despite being over an hour late and not responding to our messages,

I booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel as my wife is 73, disabled, requiring wheelchair assistance and unable to stand in a taxi queue. When we arrived at the airport I received a message saying our transfer had been cancelled due to driver unavailability. This caused huge inconvenience and we were offered no compensation despite being a frequent customer.

Be careful when booking an airport pick in Istanbul, as they need the name of both passengers but there is no place when booking to do this and because of this we were left stranded at the airport. Do not book welcome pick ups in Idtanbul

Dreadful experience. Never again. Driver refused to take a backpack and small carry on claiming it wouldn’t fit in car and he would be fined. Refused ride. Nonsense. Would have fixed perfectly. His boss said they would take cases but would charge extra €44 . End result. We didn’t get ride and company kept €65 for doing nothing. On complaining on line ( you can’t speak to a human) a robot called Ring sends a pathetic sorry but tough luck response. Avoid this mob.
