I scheduled a Welcome Pickup from FCO (Rome) to my hotel. I received the confirmation which thankfully included a photo of my driver. When I had picked up my suitcase and exited immigration at the scheduled time, there was a line of drivers from various companies with name cards but mine was not among them. I waited for a while, but "niente." Then I noticed that one of the drivers (I'll call him X) looked very much like the person in the photo, but he was holding a card that said "Josh" -- not my name. I asked if he was, in fact, my driver and he said, yes, but that there had been a last-minute change of drivers and my new driver hadn't arrived yet. I should have received a text informing me of this. I checked my phone but there was no text. Now, one would think that it would have occurred to Mr. X that since all this was very last minute I might not have gotten the message and that he should look out for me as well as his current client. In any case, driver #2 did eventually arrive about 10 minutes later and took me to my hotel. But as the whole purpose of using Welcome Pickup was to have a smooth and stress-free arrival, I can't say it was a satisfactory experience.

De chauffeur Lucky was aardig alleen betaal je €30 voor een trip die maar €12 kost. Je wordt opgepikt in een gewone taxi maar betaald bijna 3 keer zoveel als op de 'meter'. Ik adviseer om gewoon een wachtende taxi te pakken.

I have used and been happy with this service in the past. One thing of which i was not aware is quite irksome. They advertise that you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance. They do not make it clear that there is a 20% administrative fee for canceling. We had booked them for a fall trip just before the Covid Pandemic hit. Our plans were cancelled and we do not know when we can travel again. They only refund 100% to a future credit. We had only paid for this service a few weeks before we had to cancel since our entire trip was cancelled. Now either they refund only 80% or we tie up almost 50Euros indefinitely. Not good faith or in keeping with industry standards. Boo to Welcome pickups for this user unfriendly policy

Coupon codes are transferable so you can also pass them on to your family or friends as a gift. Not very happy.they kept changing the time, then wanted to charge me again. Everything got mixed up. They said they gave me a refund but my statement fifng come yet.

BEWARE !!!!! Booked a return transfer from our apartment to the airport in Nice and Welcome Pickups cancelled shortly before pickup time advising us to organise our own transport. This caused us a lot of stress, worry and increased costs. Finally our host helped us as being in the Old City in Nice taxis are not allowed into the area. We couldn't get any taxis and finally our Airbnb host stepped in to help us. Very disappointing and would never recommend this company to anyone. BEWARE !!!!

We booked a welcome pickup for a recent trip to Amsterdam. I received an email as promised 4 days before showing us our driver. This was great as we were five women travelling. On arriving in Amsterdam we followed the instructions given of where to meet our driver. After 10 minutes waiting I rang the number I had been given and got no reply. A couple of minutes later I received a phone call and really struggled to understand what was being said. We managed to hear that he was ill and had sent a different driver. 10 minutes later another phone call from the new driver saying there had been an accident and he was going to be bit longer. Finally now over half an hour late and stood in the wind and rain our new driver arrived and we were on our way. Our driver did not know the address we were going to and had to give this info again. The whole idea of this service is you know who is driving you and everything is set up before hand and supposed to make it stress free. If the excuses were true then fair enough but feel we shouldn’t have to chase the information we should have been contacted as soon as we landed .

We had a pick up ordered on may 17th 2019, driver was supposed to be at our hotel in Berlin, Germany at 5am, he didn't arrive in time so we needed to take another cab to catch our flight back home. Lost 30€ as the pick up was paid in advance, and paid extra 30€ for the new cab. Pretty difficult to recommend their services, at least we will never again use this company. Oh yeah, at least until now the company has not refunded our money.

Got a text message whilst on the flight which I couldn’t take due to flight mode to say that the company couldn’t pick us up. We had to make our own way to Hotel I asked for compensation and only want the train fare I laid out as a jester of goodwill but was told it wasn’t company policy. I won’t be using them again.

My trip to Cypress wasn’t the way I have planed,they toke me to the wrong Hotel,and was late at night I had to spend the night in that hotel and spend double the money,they promise me a refund for the hotel but I have never receive it.

They canceled on us for an airport pickup near to when our flight left so we had no chance to rebook. Stressful for our family. Booking was for a busy time in Paris but we booked days in advance.
