Travelled from Belfast to Liverpool and the driver did not turn up. Sending us a £20 voucher? Don't know why, as I would never use them again. Terrible service. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED IN LIVERPOOL

I used them six times in Athens and they were great. On time, English speaking very friendly, courteous drivers. I couldn'T have asked for more.

Unreliable. Our ride was canceled after a four hour flight delay leaving us stranded at the airport at night. There is an app to message the driver that no one responds too and it says not to worry they track flight delays and our driver still showed up at the airport at the incorrect time. Save yourself the hassle and just would book a more reliable form of transportation

Really disappointing. We arrived in Pisa airport at 11.30pm having ordered a taxi to meet us weeks before. There was no taxi to meet us. Just a text message on my phone which had been sent after we have left Dublin and we were in the plane. The message said the taxi was cancelled because of lack of drivers. We were completely stranded in the middle of the night . I will never book with this company again.

Evangelos was our driver picked us up from our hotel to Athens airport. He was a great driver, friendly and attentive, made our ride very pleasant and comfortable!

The driver was meant to be waiting at Athens airport with a name sign in arrivals hall "A" We booked the pick up for 9.00 pm to give us time to collect bags etc... Our plane landed on time, we were at the meting point arrivals hall "A" by 9.07pm , no sign of a driver with our name. There were not that many drivers waiting so easy to identify him, had he been there as planned. As the arrivals hall emptied and still no sign after 45 mins we took a regular taxi. I did not have access to internet on my phone until I got to the hotel. The driver has sent whatap message Sent as text 6/6 8:49pm Hello, I’m a driver to pick up you from the airport when you pass the queue and get your luggage get the exit number two and stand in the second side walk and when you are there, update me to start from the parking thank you. See you soon. This was no use to me having no phone access, he should have been there waiting as planned and paid for. He would have known the plane landed on time so why wait for a customer to call you. A disappointing start to our holiday and a waste of 67 euro and another 57 euro in a taxi. And an hour of our time waiting.

It’s a good service but I’d recommend anyone using it to keep comms active as much as possible. I’d booked my pickup from Budapest Airport the night before, chosen a cautious pickup time, received a confirmation email and even though my flight was slightly delayed, I arrived at the gate 2-3 mins after at the arranged pickup time, so thought everything was ok. I couldn’t see anyone to meet me but after a minute my phone rang and the driver asked me to exit the airport and go to one of the bays outside. He seemed disappointed that I’d not responded to any of his messages or calls but I was surprised he’d tried to contact me as I was bang on time and had only just switched my phone out of aeroplane mode. Still polite though. My friend later told me that part of the service was to use WhatsApp to communicate with the driver, which I hadn’t, so my fault, but I just thought I needed to get out in time. Guess I’m a bit old school and thought someone would be there with my name on a bit of paper. So happy to recommend but it’s not for me. I’d rather just get the bus next time and they’re pretty regular.

I booked several Welcome Pickups in advance of our trip to Paris, Belgium and London to make things easier on our family. The site asks for your airline and train information. They even have messages pop up in their app that read: "The driver will be monitoring your arrival time, in order to pick you up at the correct time, regardless of any delays." This is NOT true. We were stranded on a train (operational failure) and had to wait two hours for another train to come near us so that all passengers could be transferred. I reached out to the driver and he was nice but said he could not wait. I tried reaching out to Welcome Pickups, but they have no customer service line or way to communicate. The driver told me that they don't monitor the status of trains, etc and that I would have to schedule a new pickup despite the fact that I had already paid in advance. We were not met with a driver that day. We had to scramble for a taxi and since we were traveling for 2 + weeks with 4 people, we had multiple bags and had to pay for two separate taxis. It was a very frustrating experience. The company finally reached out and said they would give me a coupon for a future booking equivalent to the transfer they didn't provide. NO THANK YOU-wont take anymore chances with this company. It's a shame too because there were a few good drivers that did their job. But, those were in situations where there were no delays outside of our control.

Price gouging at its finest. Charged over $151 usd for a 9 minute ride. Very bad customer service when I tried to correct it. They charged my Google pay and the amount wasn't visible until after the charge. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

We used this company to book a private car tour of Prague by night. I cannot recommend them enough! Our guide Tomas, took us to all of the cool places and made sure that we had plenty of photo opportunities. He would either drop us off at a spot and wait for us, or drive us directly to a spot. If you book with this company, make sure to ask for Tomas. He is excellent. This was the highlight of our trip to Prague. Excellent!!!!!

I was very skeptical about this service-sounded too good to be true. We were arriving late in Prague after a flight delay and concerned about getting a taxi so decided to take a chance. So glad we did! Our driver, David, was great! So good in fact, that we booked him for our return travel to the airport. Basically the same price as a taxi, but spoke English, waited for us and helped us with our luggage and a nice clean car. Highly recommend! I wouldn’t hesitate to book through this company again.

We have just used Welcome Pickups seven times during a four week stay in Italy (5 times) & Singapore (2 times). I was extremely impressed with their efficient, punctual and professional service. I would gladly use them again on my travels and highly recommend them. Five stars!

We got picked up from Naples. Our driver Vincenzo was very patient he waited longer as getting through security took longer than expected. On the way to the accommodation he was able to point out some places for us to visit. We were so pleased with the service, we will use again. Thank you!

We reserved them for a pickup at vancouver airport about a week ago. While we were in the air they sent me a text cancelling our pickup, which I received when we landed. Because they were unreliable, I cancelled the return pickup for 8 days from now that I also booked. They charged me a 20% cancellation fee. You can not rely on this business and I will never use them again

This company is not trustworthy. They confirmed and cancle in last minute, soo we allmost miss our flight. I do not recommend Welcome Pickups to anyone — completely unreliable and unprofessional.

Its Deceitful when they say 100% Refund, then when you are to cancel- there is something else that pops up that says 20% is what you are charged. Like Really, I literally did the confirming and canceling in less than 2 min. DO BETTER!!
