“Do Not Use. Read the other 1star reviews. Terrible. Cancelled our pickup to the Cabo Mx airport 3 hours before pick up. Prepaid reservation made more than a month ahead of time and confirmed 48 hours before pick up. Left scrambling in Mexico to arrange alternative transportation which was very stressful and much more expensive at the last minute. Totally unreliable. Will not use again.”

“DON'T BOOK, TOTAL SCAM!! Pre-booked and paid for a ride from Cartagena, COL airport to my hotel. They said the driver will wait an hour after you land. It is WELL known that it Always takes More than an hour to go thru customs (which I didn't know at the time)!! The driver left and I prepaid in order to book the ride. Order an Uber outside the airport instead. It came in 2 mins and it was Less than 1/2 the price!!”

“2 bad experiences in 3 days. First, our transfer was cancel during the fly. So, after landing in Montevideo we find out that we have no transfer. We took a taxi for x3 normal price (It was 25.12 😅). Second, 28.12 the driver didn’t come to pick us from the hotel. Once again we had to take a Taxi. This time for x2 price (Sunday 😅). Finaly what do you think about this transfer App???”

“Our driver did not meet us , we were met by a Norges taxi . Had I been travelling on my own as a woman I would not have used the taxi. No communication about the change in arrangements. The driver did not have a Welcome notice , just a card with my name on it. The car was not clean and my seat belt did not work properly. No help with luggage. Certainly have now deleted the welcome app. Be careful when booking , expensive in my opinion.”

“Our Budapest experience was very positive. David was on time, reached out ahead of time to confirm collection and give us directions. He was a very safe driver and shared very useful information about the city. The whole experience was very positive. I will definitely use Welcome Pickups again, a very efficient service.”

“I was contacted several days before so new who was collecting me from Agadir airport,his photo,the type of vehicle and registration number. As a single female adult it is important to feel safe in a foreign country and using Welcome Pickups is a very safe and secure way to travel. I have used them four times now and would thoroughly recommend them.”

“I was very pleased with the transportation service. Driver, Marinescu C. communicated where he was located at the airport upon my arrival and I was able to connect with him easily soon after I exited the baggage claim area. Marinescu was very friendly and professional. Overall, I'm glad that I reserved the transportation service because it was easy and convenient.”

“Cenk Ozcelik picked us up from our hotel in Istanbul and Afe picked me up from IST, both were very professional, picked up up on time, replied straightaway if we were not sure about something overall a good service. Cars were clean. Reasonably priced.”

“We were contacted by their driver thru WhatsApp and told he would be at the airport to pick us up. When our flight was delayed over four hours we did everything we could to contact him and he did not respond. Then the company unknowingly changed drivers and when we weren't there on time he left and we were not pickup when we did arrive and no compensation was given to us. It was their problem changing drivers without telling us then they blame us. If for some reason you miss your pick up you are just out of luck. After multiple emails it is obvious we will not be reimbursed. Don't use this service.”

“Please be aware this company can cancel your prepaid bookings with hardly any notice. We had booked 4 transfers for a large group well in advance, and they only turned up for 2, leaving us to urgently source alternative transport. Not fun when organizing a large group, in a strange country at night.”

“This was my first time using Welcome Pickups & in 4 weeks in Europe & using Welcome numerous time I cannot speak more highly of them. Communication, service, vehicles, the drivers were all amazing. We even had a 3 hour trip & Samuel was so helpful, considerate & all trips were very safe & professional. Highly recommend & made our trip so stress free :-)”

“I used Welcome Pickups to go from Bodrum, Turkey to Fathiye, Turkey and everything went very smoothly. A few days later, I had booked another pick up from Fathiye to Antalya, a 3 hour drive. I had to get to Antalya by 12 noon for a tour that I had booked. I was supposed to be picked up at 8 o’clock in the morning. At 7:30 on the morning of the scheduled pick up, I noticed an email (thank God I checked) that had been sent at 7:15 am, 45 minutes before my scheduled pick up that they were unable to find a driver for me and they canceled my trip. They didn’t know the night before that they wouldn’t be able to find a driver? This company is very unreliable and I won’t use them again.”

“Paid fee up front for pick up in Istanbul. We thought all would be okay even though our flight was 20 minutes late because welcome pick ups says that they monitor flight delays. However they start your 1 hour grace period when your plane lands, not when it arrives at the gate, our plane took an extra 20 minutes for us to taxi to the gate and deplane, their time clock should start only when plane is at the gate. Welcome pickups also changed our driver on us, so when we connected with the assigned driver we were informed of this change but had no contact information for the new driver until we were able to get internet and find the email. We were never contacted by the new driver. We arrived 2 minutes after the 1 hour grace period our pick up had been cancelled and welcome pick ups kept our payment, not even a partial refund. They use Uber and taxi drivers and if you end up with a driver change beware, the communication is lacking and they will keep your money.”

“I use this service no less than 2 to 3 times a year. Never an issue and always a happy driver willing to share info about the location I flew to. Other family members also use it as well after my recommendation. Being picked up after a long flight into a luxury vehicle with a private driver works for me. I even have hired them to drive me for local tours as a guide. My Istanbul driver was knowledgeable and reliable. Had a great trip their Just a couple of weeks ago. But I go to Berlin a couple times a year and love the ability to communicate thru the Welcome APP. I find the company consistent and reliable. They are always part of my travels from Europe to South America!”
