The tour was everything we wanted! We went 10 Nov to the early access Vatican tour. From the outset, our host in the office was friendly and offered coffee and pastries which were gladly accepted. But the star of the day was our guide Ana. She spent time prior to the gates opening to explain the frescos of the Sistine Chapel, so that once we got through security we could beeline for the chapel. The beeine was fast-paced and tiring and worth every ounce of energy!!! And as informative as she was about the Chapel, she was equally informed and conversational about every other room in the museum. AND, she was not afraid to say “I don’t know” which was great, because so many guides will make up “facts” to seem smart. She was honest and purely fantastic! We really feel lucky she was picked for our tour!
