Bought these as a trial with a view to eventually replacing a whole flatful of CFL bulbs, which give out a pathetic glimmer (and seem to fail regularly after a day or two in use). Initial impressions very favourable. These are MUCH brighter and use a bit less power (9W compared with 11W). Only time will tell how long they keep working.
I bought one warm white and one cool white. The cool white is VERY harsh, so if I buy more I'll go for the warm white (which is much less yellow than the old CFL bulbs).
