These lights are a great replacement for the 50w halogens we had. They fit into the down lighter fitting perfect(other led's have been too long). They also look nice when off as they have the same bevelled reflective glass all around. Tried led's a couple of years ago and they were awful my daughter walked in to kitchen and said' 'What have you done to the room , where's all the colour?' Not so this time, we really like them. They focus the light down well onto the work surface for food prep. There is a difference in the colour tone compared to halogen, would definitely recommend warm-white as they are the closest match.
