We have the four LED bulbs mounted as per photograph and controlled via the latest pro(grammable) dimmer switch. I bought a fifth LED bulb as a spare; you never know with five grandsons! We use full brightness for reading and can dim down for other occasions. We are very satisfied with the resultant setup. The primary light fitting is a large bayonet with a four way multiplier plugged in which has large screw fittings for the LED bulbs.
