The only improvement I can think of is if you used, or at least offered DPD as a delivery service, (no, I don't work for them (;- ). Royal mail almost always deliver when we are out, then things get difficult. DPD email you with a suggested 1 hour delivery slot, if its not convenient you can change it. I don't think they are very expensive.
