The original lighting in our kitchen came from twin tube 36w slim fit fluorescent lamps and we purchased a Norte 6 folding wave spotlight system from Homebase; this was supplied with 6 of GU10 50w halogen flood lights which gave a warm adequate light but were prone to failure.
I replaced them with GU10 4 watt but these turned out to be of a narrow beam width (15° or 30°), which gave totally inadequate lighting.
This led on to the purchase of 6 of GU10 , 240v 3.3W LED bulbs from Wholesale LED Lights to replace the narrow beam lamps. Here the full description was available and I could select from the beam widths to get the required 120° beam width and my other half fitted them to her total satisfaction - the light value is back close to that of the fluorescent tubes but cheaper to run and much longer lasting.
Many thanks
