I recently visited Wickes and tried to use a discount code I had taken a screenshot of from the app. Unfortunately, the network at the store is terrible, so I couldn’t load the app directly. Despite having used screenshots in the past without issue, the staff member at the till, Jamie, refused to scan it. His refusal was not only unhelpful but was delivered with a rude and disrespectful attitude, which made the whole experience frustrating. As a loyal customer who has used this method before, I’m disappointed by this unnecessary and unprofessional behavior. Wickes should ensure their staff are trained to handle these situations with more understanding and courtesy.
