The whole procedure was very easy, just turned up and got in line, then drove onto the ferry. Facilities are available at the dock which is great if you have travelled and get there early. Found a quieter area on the ferry and refreshments were available throughout the journey. Would recommend it although the cost is quite high in my opinion
