Wightlink work hard to keep to the published timetable, they are generally helpful and friendly. Considering that they have a monopoly over routes to the Isle of Wight they do make every effort to offer a reliable, efficient service. Peak season, peak time crossings are pricey, particularly if travelling by car, it really makes you doubt whether you really want to go over there.
My experiences since travelling more frequently to visit a new grandchild have been very positive, but it is getting expensive, I would travel more often if the price was lower.
