I’ve been travelling to the IOW on Wightlink regularly since 2010. In the last 18 months the ferry has been late leaving time and again. The excuse has always been a broken down coach, which conveniently means Wightlink do not have to pay compensation. The price has gone up and up, the ferries are old and the one I travelled on had disgusting toilets, no decent food outlets, and had a funny smell. All for the cut price of £105 day return.
