The price is extortion to go across by car.
Also take note prices are put up when there is an event on or a public holiday!
I missed my 1:00pm ferry due to heavy traffic on my 120 mile journey and was told I would have to wait until 8:00pm to get on an available slot.
This really worried me but luckily I was allowed to board the next crossing.
