My husband and I like to upcycle furniture. We found the bottom of an antique table 17 X 35 someone discarded in an alley almost 2 years ago. It was missing a top. Turns out it was the base of a sewing cabinet likely made in the USA between 1900 and 1920. The table base cannot hold a lot of weight, so we couldn't find a top for it. I had the idea to somehow make one so I could do some mosaics on it. Instead I found the Woodpeckers' ready-made large tray with 2 sections, and it is 18 X 36! I spray-painted it black, and we glued and nailed it to the tabletop. Then I designed and completed the rooster mosiacs and voila! The tray was a perfect fit and solution to our alley treasure!
