WE are ordered a four foot long wooden dowel, 1.5 by 1.5 inches. We actually needed it to cut into 5 inch long legs for a couch. the wood was high quality, so we stained it to match the wood on the couch and it made great legs for our couch. We couldn't find 1.5 by 1.5 legs anywhere, so this was perfect for us.
