I can always find small wood pieces at woodpeckers crafts . With the pegs , knobs and the small bowls I made Mortar & Pestles . They were great for Ostara (Easter) gifts . The real hollowed chicken egg is filled with small pieces of tree resin . It is opened. The resin ground in the M&P. . Then it can be burned at one’s Altar to celebrate Ostara.
