The small wood finials that I ordered arrived very quickly, were well packaged and well-made. I am very happy with them. I used them to make Victorian-style corner guards. I used 1 1/8" birch dowels with a quarter section cut out on the table saw, plus the wood finials from Woodpeckers Crafts, with a quarter section cut out on the bandsaw, all finished with 2 coats of amber shellac to make corner guards for several corners that were very vulnerable to damage and fingerprints. They protect the exposed corners of the wall and complement my 1870 house.
