The square 2.5" cube blocks of wood made from all Birchwood I purchased from Woodpeckers Crafts are beautifully crafted and precisely the size I ordered...just right for my projects. I apply baking clay to some of my projects and the applied heat sometimes causes the Birchwood layers which make up the block to separate. These blocks would be perfect -at least for my needs- if they were made from solid Birchwood rather than a butcherblock construction.
