Bought 1/4" square dowels to use in place of putty for window glazing. Woodpeckers Crafts has the 4' lengths I required and the pieces arrived in excellent condition. The grain is fine and there is no warping even in these long lengths. The dowels took finish nails easily and they are holding the windows in place securely. Because the windows are in functioning doors I needed a very robust solution and these dowels were perfect for the job !
