I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the finials. The wood was good (no checks or bad spots) and they were paint/stain ready. I had to do very little to get them prepped for finish. That’s a boon. For those who will notice, I didn’t apply a sanding sealer on the stained finials - they’ll be far enough away not to matter. I’m very happy with the company and will surely be coming back for something more in the future.
