I use the 24" wood circles from Woodpeckers Craft for my thread design artwork. I use other shapes and sizes from other vendors but the 24" wood circles works out very nicely. It has a nice color variation when I stain it. The nails I use penetrate easier than other plywood that I have used. My web site is Threaddesignbyraul.com.
