Dowels from Woodpecker are great and reasonably priced. We cut them down to 3 inch lengths and use them to connect the upper and lower Bunkbed for Our Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bunks. We build and delivery the beds to kids who don't have beds - free of charge. It has been a busy year, we will have delivered 200 beds by the end of December. Next year is shaping up to be even busier.
