I purchased a cheaper wool quilt from a different manufacturer several years ago, we needed a new quilt for the spare bed, so decided to put the old one on there and upgrade ours to a Woolroom one. The Woolroom one may be dearer, but the difference is amazing, it is warmer and feels far more cosy, but still controls our body temperature so neither of us overheat. It also feels thicker without any extra weight. The saying 'you get what you pay for' is definitely true here.
