I found synthetic and feather duvets too hot and I didn't like the puffiness - a feather duvet can be 4-5 inches thick and heavy. I abandoned a 10.5 tog feather & down duvet for a 4.5 wool duvet. It is only about an inch thick and much lighter. It is beautifully crafted and a revelation - I love it and it regulated temperature better - warm or cold. It was okay during a cold snap no extra blanket needed. Finally I get a decent nights sleep. I totally recommend a wool duvet and the Woolroom - quality and service seem to matter to them!
