First of all, I wanted to congratulate you on your very prompt delivery. I ordered around 2330 on Monday night and the duvet was with me on Wednesday at 1030 via DPD courier. Love DPD, they always keep you informed. Now for the duvet. Very well made, beautiful stitching which keeps the wool in place. Took me some time to get used to the feel of the duvet. It is thinner than my hollowfibre 4.5 tog yet it is dense. It lies on you rather than cocoons you which also takes some getting used to. My main reason for purchasing was because I was waking 6+ times each night feeling hot under a 4.5 tog Ikea duvet. Now, I’m at that time of my life when I could have a hot flush in an igloo so I knew the Woolroom duvet was not going to stop the flushes but now I’m only waking 2 or 3 times and I seem to cool down quicker and get back to sleep faster. Now, I love the feel of the duvet – it’s not soft and fluffy but solid and comforting. It’s not heavy it’s just not like candy floss if that makes any sense. The nearest thing I can describe it to is the feel of several wool blankets. Am so pleased I took the plunge and purchased as the price is very reasonable compared to others on the market and was slightly concerned about the quality. Am delighted with my purchase. It is great to have a natural product and get rid of the hollow fibre. Thank you to Woolroom. I wish you every success. Oh, PS – how about making smaller comforters which could go in dogs’ beds or even dogs’ beds? People love to spoil their animals.
