I was beginning to find my Tempur mattress a little too firm for comfort , especially with a hip problem . I came across the woolroom website by chance and having read the reviews for each style of topper , I chose to try the Deluxe version . I was encouraged to do so by a very generous Bank Holiday discount ! I have found it to be very comfortable and does exactly what I wanted it to do . However , I am still too warm at night and have not experienced the self-regulating cooling effect that has been mentioned. The topper fits very well and is beautifully made . It claims to be washable but I am not convinced that my domestic machine would cope with the weight and bulk of this item . I think I would be quite nervous about washing it . Overall a lovely product and I would certainly look at buying more bedding that uses fleece from British livestock .
