Unhappy. The book was slipped into an envelope far too big. Consequently it whizzed around inside the envelope whenever a postal worker flung it, getting battered. When it arrived at my house the corner of the book was sticking out of a hole in the envelope it had punched out from inside.
Answer, a smaller envelope with some kind of packing inside to restrict the movement of the dear, sweet book when flung by postal workers.
