I placed an order for 2 books on 7th December, it being a Xmas present. On 19th December I received an email stating: "We regret to inform you that the item below has unfortunately been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Please rest assured that your order remains open and we will do our best to dispatch it within the next few days." The books actually arrived on 2nd January and Worderys answer to my complaint was: "I've looked into this for you and I'm sorry to say a glitch in information transfer led to a problem remaining unreported against your order. When you ordered, your item was in stock with our supplier. The supplier of the item has let us down. We've informed our tech team and they are looking into what happened to ensure the issue won't occur in future.". Sounds very much like bull**** and that any orders that weren't on their way by Friday 21st December = tough.
