I bought two expensive hardback books, but the way they were packaged, side by side rather than on top of each other, with the boards of one facing outwards, meant that by the time they arrived in my letterbox in New Zealand, the corner of one of them had good crunched/bumped during delivery. This was disappointing. It didn't seem bad enough to bother with chasing up for a replacement, but disappointing that an expensive book didn't arrive in mint condition.
