I would like to share my "experience" with worktop express. We ordered our worktops with this firm & because the work tops where over 3m long, thought we would pay extra for the 2 men delivery option.so according to their delivery advice, my partner booked the time of work to fit in with this. The delivery time came & went, so by 1730 on the delivery day my partner had to phone up & ask where the delivery was...."oh terribly sorry, but the lorry had broken down" we will be in touch to rearrange a time. Next day after taking additional time of work, 1 man arrived & struggled to get these work tops through our front door. He apologised & said the lorry breaking down was a lie, the original delivery drivers had ran out of time.
So to recap, paid an extra £60 for a 2 man delivery & it was a day& a half late.
I've been trying with out any luck to receive a repayment on our original costs, have been given the total run around by there customer service staff& been given false promises.
It's really a shame because the worktops are perfect, so no reflection on the skills of the factory staff.
I really think the customer service is absolutely shocking& don't like being lied to. £60 to some people may not seem like much, but I paid for a service I didn't receive.
Be careful if you have any issues with customer service as they just fob you off with lies.
