I placed my order on the Thursday and did not get an order number, nor a confirmatory e-mail. Over the weekend I tried to create an account so that I could track my order and was told that a verification code would be e-mailed to me so that I could open my account - it wasn't, so I tried again, with the same result. Meanwhile my credit card had been charged the full value of the order.
On the Monday I called to see what was happening and was told that my order would arrive between 1:30 and 2:30 - I had received no other notification that this would be happening. The order didn't arrive, anyway, even though I stayed in waiting for it. We received no notification that the delivery had failed.
On Tuesday I called again and was told that the driver couldn't find us (we are right by the side of the road) but that he would call again between 2:40 and 3:40, which he did (with six minutes to spare!). I asked the driver what had happened the day before - essentially he was following his satnav and drove right past our house. When he realised he'd gone 800 yards too far he couldn't be arsed to turn round - also he had our 'phone number but was in too much of a hurry to be bothered to use it.
So, although the goods arrived in the end, poor customer service, no communication, dire delivery service.
