Purchased a wren kitchen last year and DIY installed, the plans for DIY were very substantial and easy to understand. I had no problems other than a wrong door supplied and a missing pelmet, both errors were replaced quickly and with any fuss.
One minor criticism is that the plans should state clearly that the Pelmets and corniches should be either butt joints or mitred. I made the mistake of mitring and was left short of the corniche.
