“Five-Day Kitchen Turns into a Ten-Week Ordeal – My Wren Kitchens Experience” When we ordered a kitchen from Wren, we were sold the dream of a smooth, five-day installation handled by professionals from start to finish. What we actually experienced was a ten-week nightmare marked by poor management, repeated delays, and a complete lack of accountability. It started badly one of the pine units was damaged by Wren’s own delivery team. Things went further downhill when the Wren-appointed fitter abandoned the installation, leaving us with an unfinished kitchen for eight weeks. During this time, we had no sink, no running water, and no usable kitchen space. Wren sent a succession of fitters, each leaving more issues unresolved. Communication was inconsistent, and no one seemed to take ownership for putting things right. For a brand that promotes “excellent customer care,” this has been anything but. The experience has caused unnecessary stress, disruption, and expense. If this is the level of service Wren considers acceptable, it raises serious questions about how customers are treated once they’ve paid their deposit. Consumers deserve honesty, accountability, and a functioning kitchen not months of excuses and poor workmanship.

Would never advise anyone to buy from Wrens after our present experience with them. Kitchen should be finished by now but wrong unit sent so have to wait TWO WKS for that & wrong size work top. Phoned up wrens they’ve fobbed us off . Not even a sorry! Shocking customer service! We payed out for dog kennels so that wouldn’t be an issue & men who came in to finish kitchen wasted a days work. It’s unacceptable we are fuming!

When we bought our kitchen, we looked around our local showroom, and effectively picked one off the shelf - exactly as it appeared on their display. 3 weeks before our delivery, we happened to notice something on our plans that didn't make sense. Turns out wren had measured the kitchen incorrectly - lucky we noticed but it meant we had to have a rushed last minute redesign. We were never given the opportunity to view in VR as advertised, despite us asking more than once. Come delivery, the wrong worktops arrived. The designer had ordered the wrong ones, and after a lot of back and forth, wren have refused any responsibility, stating at different points it was the fitters fault, it was our fault - anyone's but theirs. I even provided photos of the display we had referenced in the design and again, have refused to budge - stating that there was no evidence we ordered those worktops because the designer had ordered the wrong ones from the start. In short - Unless you are prepared to go through every item with a fine tooth comb, or pay someone in the trade to go over it - I would not recommend. There are plenty of other suppliers that offer a better service. Once they have your money they just point at the order sheet and, unless the wrong item has been delivered, it's your own fault.

Dishonest Service, Awful Experience, and Cheap Quality ***UPDATE*** Wren Kitchens called me today (23/10/2025) and point-blank refused to do anything other than reimburse the £59 delivery fee (we paid over £2555 for this absolute sham). They also ADMITTED that they don't actually produce wardrobes at 800mm so there was never a chance - even at the point of sale - where they would have provided the bespoke wardrobe we asked for. I have never known dishonesty like it from such a big company. Don't be fooled by the fake customer service reply below - they're nothing but thieves and have no intention of making this right. I tried to buy a bespoke fitted wardrobe from Wren Kitchens. We gave them the dimensions or our space and despite the Sales guy being a little inept with his own software, we came up with a design we were happy with. We gave them the measurements for an 800mm deep wardrobe and paid a premium price for the same. The person who put this through for us, then really pushed their "free measuring service" wherein someone will come out and measure the space you've got just to check to the last millimetre that it fits. We initially said no because we were confident in our measurements, but he was insistent so we relented. The space was in a new build we hadn't moved into yet, so we weren't present when someone went out to measure. Cut to delivery day, when we start putting the wardrobe together only to find they had reduced the depth of the wardrobe to such an extent that our stuff doesn't actually fit in it. They sent 2 standard sized (600mls deep), poor quality chipboard wardrobes for us to bolt together and some fillers for the remaining space. To clarify, they took away 25% of the volume of the wardrobe but kept 100% of our payment. When we went back to them, they were absolutely gleeful in telling us that as part of the small print for letting someone out to measure, you're essentially telling Wren they can adjust the measurement however they want to use up the panels they already have in stock. So, we paid bespoke prices for flat pack furniture that doesn't even do what we need it to. Their sales guy was so insistent that we ticked that box, never once explaining to us that this changed the transaction in such a drastic way. Utterly dishonest. It would be OK if the quality was good but it's not. Cheap rubbish that won't last. I'll be reporting them to the FCA for breach of Consumer Duty, but for anyone reading this - just save yourself the hassle and go to IKEA for similar build quality. Or find a company actually specialising in bespoke furniture - not just one pretending to in order to fleece you for money.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Wren Kitchens. From the beginning, I was repeatedly urged to place a down payment, and after I paid in full, communication from the company completely stopped. I had to follow up almost daily to get updates or any clarity on the next steps for delivery. After six weeks, my cabinets were finally delivered. However, upon opening the boxes, I discovered that no countertops were included. When I contacted Wren Kitchens, I was informed that countertop installation was a separate process and that I would need to wait another month before it could be scheduled. The lack of transparency, follow-up, and customer support has been very disappointing. For a company of this size, I expected a far more organized and professional experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Wren Kitchens.

We had a great first kitchen with Wren, which is why—despite friends urging us to try Magnet—we came back. Big mistake. Our designer was effectively unreachable. We spent weeks chasing answers by phone and email, and our builders couldn’t get basic clarifications on measurements. Support that should be standard elsewhere was nonexistent here. It got worse. After speaking with the manufacturer, we learned three units were incorrect versus what we ordered. We were also told a push-to-open (“push-and-catch”) option wasn’t available—only to discover that it is. Several parts still haven’t been sent, and some were sent incorrectly, causing further delays and rework. On top of this, the extraction unit supplied is unacceptable—either the wrong model was sent or it’s fundamentally mis-manufactured. As shown in our photos: The right and left edge colours do not match. There are two exposed holes that cannot be covered and are badly positioned. When we raised the issue, Wren refused to accept there was a problem and said we must pay an additional £70 to replace the panel. This is unacceptable. The unit is faulty/not as described, and any remedy should be provided at no extra cost. We expected accountability and quality control; we received neither. Please ensure designers are accessible and that orders (including picking/packing) are verified before manufacturing and dispatch. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning to Wren and cannot recommend them.

I would strongly advise against using Wren Kitchens for any project. My experience with the company has been deeply disappointing and reflects a serious lack of professionalism and accountability at every level. There appears to be a high turnover of staff, which is unsurprising given the disorganisation and poor internal communication we encountered. Despite spending over six hours in their showroom meticulously planning our kitchen, the final outcome was riddled with errors—missing items, incorrect elements, rescheduled dates, and chaotic delivery processes. While mistakes can happen, what is unacceptable is the complete absence of ownership or responsibility. Rather than resolving issues, departments repeatedly deflect blame onto one another, forgetting that from the customer's perspective, they represent a single organisation. I am not interested in internal excuses—I simply expect the service promised to me. Customer service has been equally ineffective. I have raised two formal tickets, both of which were automatically closed without resolution or follow-up. In short, Wren Kitchens has demonstrated a concerning disregard for customer satisfaction, and I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

I booked wardrobe installation on the 1st March 2025 and was promised 6 week fitting. My wardrobes were fitted 29th July after the first fitter for the 17th July said van broke down. Appointment was between 1-2pm , his van decided to break down at 8am.He called to tell me that i should advise wren about it. I then was told ,it may take 3 weeks ,I had to kick off to get a fitter in 2 weeks. Wardrobes were fitted and one side panel is different colour. How as a normal person do you see a complete different colour panel and not think to question if that part of the order. I complained about it and they offered 2 ridiculous options . 1- I keep the panel as it is for a £152 refund. 2- I get it changed and I incur the charges for their stupid mistake. I have asked the panel to be changed at their cost. 19th September, I am on the phone now, the fitter is asking the staff on the call with me,what he is coming to do at my house. Should he not have that information from Wren Rushden in Wellingborough? I unfortunately took a 4 year finance with them and this is the service you get. Pathetic to say the list. I have been back and forth for this to be rectified. I would never recommend Wren . You do your own assessment and choose.

We inherited a Wren kitchen when we purchased our home and later extended the kitchen, which required additional cabinet doors. The previous owner had already contacted Wren and gave full permission for our names to be added to their account, so that we could purchase matching units under the same order. This was over three months ago. Despite that, Wren failed to add us to the account, and now they refuse to sell us the doors unless we purchase a minimum of 5 units. Their excuse is that “we have not purchased a kitchen directly from them” – which is only true because of Wren’s own failure to follow through on the account update, even after the previous owner’s explicit instruction. This is completely unacceptable. We have been left stuck with no way to complete our kitchen properly, even though we are willing to pay for the items. Instead of helping existing Wren kitchen users, their policy actively punishes us, leaving homeowners with no support for maintaining or extending a Wren kitchen unless they agree to unreasonable purchase conditions. This is not how a customer-oriented company should behave. Wren has shown a complete lack of responsibility, flexibility, and care for customers. Their failure to act has directly caused this problem, and yet we are the ones left to suffer the consequences. I strongly advise anyone considering Wren to think twice. If you ever need future support or replacements, you may find yourself in the same impossible situation.

Had a faulty Kitchen , Wrens agreeded to replace the kitchen which lead to 5 failed deliveries....Missing pieces, wrong colours sent. Numerous emails sent, not a single response. Zero communication unless I called customer service to "chase' the issues only to be let down every single time. Not one single person i have dealt with at Wrens have fulfilled their responsibilities or promises. Even after a Formal complaint i have had no official response or communication nor any form of compensation and now i have received yet another delivery today with still parts missing! Subsequently 8 months later and my kitchen is still incomplete and unfinished. Possibly the most horrendous experience I have ever had with any company! "DO NOT USE WRENS KITCHENS" SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE" COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT COMPANY IN EVERY ASPECT!

Called to ask for additional tray for a pull out unit, and took a while to get any sense. When someone did call they spent a long time explaining that our warranty was no longer valid even though there was nothing wrong with the kitchen and his was not a warranty claim. It did prep me for how they would behave if we had an issue. They also would not supply and additional shelf for a base unit. Had a Howdens account, so that was sorted in a day. I would not use them again, though the kitchen is fine

Dear Wren Kitchens Customer Service, I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding the incomplete delivery of my kitchen and the poor service I have experienced. Despite paying approximately £10,000, the kitchen was delivered without several essential components, which has caused major delays and prevented the installer from completing the job. This has resulted in a great deal of stress and inconvenience for my family. The following issues are outstanding: One grey plinth is missing, needed to fill the gap between the ceiling and the unit. The 618mm panels for the washing machine are too narrow and not fit for purpose. Several key components, including unit legs and hinges, were not supplied. Due to the urgency, I was forced to purchase the missing legs and hinges myself from Toolstation. I have attached the receipt for your reference. Additionally, I now have to pay £500 extra to my kitchen fitter for a revisit, which I believe Wren Kitchens should cover, as this situation was entirely avoidable had all materials been delivered correctly. We are a family of four, with a 1-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son, and it has been extremely difficult living without a functional kitchen. This is not just an inconvenience—it is affecting our daily life and well-being. I am not looking for a formal apology—I urgently need the correct and missing items delivered by next day delivery so the work can finally be completed. Please treat this as a priority and confirm immediate dispatch of the required materials, as well as how you intend to reimburse the additional expenses incurred. Kind regards
