Had our Kitchen installed just over 4yrs ago. We noticed a month or so ago that on the bottom of 2 of the cabinet doors, the melamine (the door covering) was peeling away. Shocked at this because of the relatively short time with had the kitchen, I remembered Wrens promise of 20yrs guarantee on all cabinets they make. So I phoned them up and explained what had happened to the doors, the young man I spoke to asked me to take some photos of the affected areas and send them to him by email. After doing this, the young man then explained he would pass on the photos to the quality team to investigate and he would get back to me when he hears back from them. A little less than 2 weeks later, I received an email from the same person I was speaking to on the phone......This is the response I got back from Wrens... “I have spoke with our quality control team and have been advised that it looks like the door fronts have been effected by harsh cleaning solutions or neat bleach which have caused damage to the door front. Due to the reasons outlined above, this would not be covered by the Wren warranty.” How do they come up with that decision based on a few photos? And if this were the case, why are only 2 doors affected? We would be having the problem with all the doors if this was the problem. For the record, we only wipe down our doors with a damp sponge with a tiny bit of washing up liquid on, then we wipe it over with a dry cloth. I’ve come to the conclusion that this 20yr guarantee on cabinet doors is nothing more than a sham. It’s there to fool people (like myself) to buy their product with the peace of mind, that if a fault did go wrong with the cabinets you buy through no fault of your own, then it will be covered for up to 20yrs. But the facts are, you report a fault and they make up any excuse to get away with out doing anything about it. You live and learn and I’ve learnt, never to step foot into a Wren building again. Will I buy from them again...OH NO Will I recommend them...HELL NO

When the fitter first visited he gave an estimate of 5 days. When he arrived to do the job he had arranged to go on holiday on the Friday, so 5 days became 4 which made life awkward for my electrician. On Wednesday (a month after we had made full payment), with no kitchen at all, Wren tell me that the oven we chose is out of stock and they have no idea when it will be available. The same unit was available from AO and Currys for next day delivery, but Wren would not use that option. I have had to buy from Currys at a cost of £324 including delivery. Wren have refunded just £263.24p. Their own staff joke about how long it takes to get through to customer services. Please, think seriously before dealing with Wren kitchens.

A disaster from start to end, and still not resolved.  We had a large infinity plus kitchen installed which is apparently their premium range, however most of the units turned up damaged and had to be reordered, with many of the replacements also being damaged and reordered again (leaving us to store/dispose of these), worktop was delayed by several weeks with us having to chase for updates and when worktop was installed it damaged all of the support units and needed to have a joint redone a week later. In addition to this we had a broken fridge that Wren accidentally replaced with a Freezer that we then had to store until the new Fridge turned up, the worktop fitter changed the design of the worktop as he said the designer had designed it incorrectly, and also Wren had somehow had one of our upstands recorded as being a different worktop material which we had to correct on numerous occasions. The whole thing was a disaster and we were without a working kitchen for c.5 weeks, and their only response is that you can fill in a claim form once the kitchen is finished. We have now filled in this claim form but it has been over 3 months with no response, whilst in addition to the stress caused we still have numerous damages that we have not been compensated for in anyway.  I fear this kitchen will not last more than 12months before looking tatty due to the poor quality, which given the amount of money spent is unacceptable. Going with Wren was a huge mistake and has ruined any enjoyment we would have had from a new kitchen. The only good point was the fitters themselves that Wren subcontracted to were brilliant, the issues were all on Wrens side. Some of our family and friends were also looking to get new kitchens also and have avoided Wren based on our experience and the poor quality of the units fitted.

BE WARNED nice kitchens for sure but the customer service is TERRIBLE. I have bought 2 kitchens and they have twice short delivered items, it has been a continuous fight to obtain expensive paid for missing items. The Quartz marble worktop for one of the kitchens arrived two different tones. I paid £3600 for it and I was not happy with the results so I complained that for the price I expect to have what I bought in the show room. It has been 6 months and they have left me with an incomplete kitchen. A worktop they are refusing to replace so they left it temporarily installed which means I have no cooker or sink installed either. I am still waiting for them to refund me the money and pick up their uneven worktop so I can buy elsewhere. Currently in the process of taking them to small claims court. Don’t buy your quartz from Wren they will sell you uneven stones and the fit it’s very poor, buy from CM Stone limited in HA9 0YJ at better prices and high standards check out my reviews on their facebook page of the work they have done. Immaculate compared to the horrible work Wren was charging me for, you can see the photos of the horrible two different tones of quartz wren provided on the review section of Wren’s page staples corner Facebook page.

Extremely poor service. The surveyor sent from Wren measured my kitchen wall unit incorrectly, which has now resulted in the wall cabinet sizes not fitting properly. I contacted the store in Hayes, they were extremely unprofessional and refused to help or escalate this. I contacted the customer services head office and after 3 days of constant chasing via emails and telephone, i was told i was at fault as I should have checked the final details myself. I explained I am not an expert in kitchen measurements and hence why Wren send their own measurer. It is their mistake and they should rectify it. They stated, I would need to purchase the correct cabinets at an additional cost ((£500) and did not accept the mistake and breakdown in communication from their store team. Nobody explained that the final measurements need to be re-checked by the customer and the installer. We relied on Wren to design our dream kitchen (which mind you was extremely expensive) and now that they have had their contract and payment, they have washed their hands off.. This whole situation has been handed very poorly from start to end. The error has been made from Wren's side. I'm now unsure if the compliance officer even measured the wall correctly or if the team at the store did not update the design accordingly. There have been more than 3 people from the store involved with my project which has probably contributed to the error! It has given my family and I unnecessary anxiety and stress in the midst of the pandemic. We had put our complete faith into Wren to design our dream kitchen and the result has been extremely upsetting. Nobody in the process has even apologised instead they have stated they are not at fault which is unprofessional. I have spent two days of my time calling head office/store and we are going around in circles with nobody actually trying to help. I am critical key worker in a NHS Hospital as such I do not have the time or energy to keep chasing to resolve an error made by Wren. Hence, I hoped this issue would now be dealt with by the right people and I would have the correct units sent free of charge / given some sort of compensation. This whole thing has meant I have to ask the kitchen fitter to the attend the property twice, which has increased my fitting cost! Instead Wren have blamed me for the error and have been extremely unprofessional.

Mmmm.... Look at all the generic 2 or 3 line ‘Anonymous’ amazing reviews.... scroll down and find the 1 and 2* reviews with persons name and detailed issues for a balanced view. I give Wren 1* as there isn’t a zero. Once they have your money they don’t care, flashy showroom, all sales driven.

We’re extremely disappointed with Wren and would be unable to recommend it to anyone. Issues include: - significant gaps between quartz worktop and wall due to uneven cutting; - unit edge scribed into an unsightly shape by fitter; - no hole in the sink unit for us to connect our dishwasher, despite the need for this being clearly stated on the plans; - one of the sink support brackets left in a pile of rubbish instead of being used to support sink; - loose wiring in dishwasher cavity; - barely able to open fusebox because it’s been reconnected at a 70-degree angle with the lid scraping on the underside of a shelf; - thermostat left hanging loose without any apparent way to reconnect; - damage to paintwork and walls elsewhere in property that required filler/sanding/repainting; - house left deliberately unlocked and unattended whilst fitters went out for lunch; - fitter ignored instructions not to use downstairs toilet that wasn’t plumbed in properly; - fitter left property early on day waste collection was due, promised to rearrange collection, and then failed to do so—leaving me to rearrange it at the last minute; - significant amount of waste—including fitters’ lunch packaging—dumped in a large heap in dining room upon completion. After broaching these issues, we did not receive anything even approaching empathy or apology from our installation coordinator or fitter. Indeed, after an email to Wren outlining the snagging issues, our fitter sent us a wildly inappropriate and somewhat aggressive text message accusing us of “lies”. The installation coordinator has insisted that none of the issues we have outlined—the big wavy gap between the worktop and the wall, the missing plumbing access hole, the wavy unit edge etc—are Wren’s responsibility. According to our installation coordinator, the supplementary plasterwork provided by Wren’s fitter is the reason we can’t install a dishwasher, or that we could potentially lose a child down the gap between worktop and wall. We disagree, but we’re currently having to source local tradespeople (decent, honest, common-sense sorts of people) to fix the issues whilst Wren hides behind some ambiguously-worded clauses in a contract. The only consolation we have is that the installation coordinator—shortly before denying all liability for the final time—agreed that she would be unhappy with the finish if this were her own kitchen. Isn’t that ironic?

Wren were great, until they weren't. The kitchen units are great quality, the colour looks great, shame about the CDA unit and the worktops. Wren fall down severely on their ability to deal with a situation when it doesn't go to plan. 1) Our worktop provider went into administration. Understandably this caused a bit of drama at Wren. We were told it would be solved in two weeks. We waited six, had to request to speak to the manager who could then fit the worktop that week. Surprising how that happened. 2) we had a CDA unit fitted and it was faulty. This unit was replaced. Unfortunately the second CDA unit was faulty too. We are still battling to get this replaced four months after our kitchen was fitted. We have even arranged for a CDA engineer to attend the property and confirm that the unit is faulty (three weeks ago). I suggest Wren sort their lines of communication out and improve their customer care. Good quality materials are not worth the stress of dealing with their incompetence!

AVOID. We paid £14k for the kitchen. We were told the quartz worktops had been brought in-house and fitting wouldn't be a problem. It took four fittings by four external companies to get my worktops fitted. The raft of mistakes made by Wren is shocking and the service terrible. And now they are offering a discount that can only be described as pitiful. AVOID.

AVOID THIS AWFUL COMPANY! We paid £12,500 for them to measure, plan, supply and fit a kitchen. The washing machine did not fit and they wouldn't do anything to sort out the problem. They left it in the sitting room and left a space in the kitchen! They do not give a damn! They are charlatans!

I’m literally sitting here in tears!!! From an absolutely useless so called Wren kitchen designer to a manageress who could not be bothered to pick up the phone and apologize for errors on my order...I could go on and on...it’s been a painful process!! Currently fitting the kitchen and it looks awful, huge gaps between the wall and units, something I emphasised on not wanting to see!!! So much money and they could NOT care less!! Absolutely gutted!! My dream of having a beautiful new kitchen has turned into a complete joke!! Don’t waste your money, time or energy on Wren, seriously use another company if you can!! I don’t even want to hear the name Wren, makes my blood boil!!!!

DO NOT even consider using this absolute disgrace of a company. No matter how good their latest offer might look, or how much you might like their products, trust me IT IS NOT WORTH IT! From the moment we signed our contract, the nightmare began. Items were missing from our design, different items were missing from our delivery, items arrived damaged etc. etc. Every time there was a problem, we were treated with absolute contempt (both locally at Birstall and at their head office). *PLEASE READ THIS*: A Wren surveyor visited our home to finalise our kitchen design. He made changes to the design that we did not want, and did not like. However, he said they were "essential". When our fitter came to install the kitchen, those changes DID NOT WORK in the room. When we contacted Wrens, we were told it was our fault for signing documentation saying we were happy with the design. WE HAD TO PAY hundreds of pounds for the design to be altered and for new parts to be sent out. I would also like to add that although these problems occurred weeks ago, I am only posting this review now that our kitchen is completely finished. This is because I told one of the managers at the Birstall store that I intended to leave negative reviews online and he said that if I did, HE WOULD REMOVE PREVIOUSLY OFFERED DISCOUNTS, costing us an additional £600 to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Utterly outrageous.

Great service up to the kitchen been fitted, then once we had an issue with one of the worktops Wren aftercare have not been very helpful, offering a pittance to live with the problem or a fraction of the cost to have the worktop replaced, very poor service & sorry we chose them now

Finally finished the fitting of the kitchen after several problems with damaged parts and cooker hood. We now have an ongoing problem with a faulty ceramic hob which was purchased through Wren Kitchens at the same time as part of the plan. We realise it’s down to Neff, the manufacturer to repair or replace this appliance but we have been bounced from one person to another trying to get the problem resolved which has now been going on for weeks Wren were very good replacing anything damaged before fitting but we seem to be going around in circles trying to resolve this latest difficulty. After 2 visits from Neff to repair the appliance which was unsuccessful our patience is running out, we seem to be in the middle of an argument between Neff and Wren Kitchens.

Not good at all.

Firstly let’s remind everyone that this company sacked 700 employees at the start of the lockdown. I did purchase a wren kitchen, this was delivered just before the lockdown and was thrown in my conservatory. I called to asked about fitting but with very rude customer service, I have had to get local builders to fit it. Panel colours don’t match, handles missing, sink scratched badly Contacted Custer services head office Barton to be told I will not be getting replacements or any refund. Dreadful company, customer service shocking! Avoid

I DO NOT recommend!!! Absolutely awful service! Our wall units do not fit! We told them the sizes we needed in the first place but the units are too big to fit so when have these sizes been changed without us knowing! Won’t replace one cupboard to make it all work out as they’re saying it’s our own fault as we signed for those sizes! Even though they’re not the sizes we told them we need! The base units fit sooo....?? When you pay £17,000 you do not expect to have to pay extra when they’ve used the wrong measurements!!!!😡😡😡

Wren: 2 out of 5 stars. TLDR: Overall substandard quality with a friendly instore service and a reasonably effective after sale customer service. If I didn’t have a fitter who cared about the details I would have ended up with a very wonky kitchen with many flaws. Pros: High quality doors, good quality cupboard backboards, decent after sales team, finished product looks good Cons: Poor design service, pressured sales tactics, terrible quality control. This was the first kitchen buying experience I’ve had, so naturally I went into the process unsure and certainly no expert. All I thought is that I need new units/appliances etc which weren’t falling to bits, and which looked good. I had some ideas of the types of features I liked having looked around the showrooms and mentioned them to the designer at Wren. At first, the designer was very friendly and accomodating. But later on it transpired that her attention to detail was lacking and she prioritised a random request to perhaps have a carousel in the corner units over actually centralising the kitchen and having all the available wall space used. When she had designed the kitchen, I was shown a panoramic which I had access through emails, but which barely showed an accurate representation of the finished product. The camera was very high and the tool had very limited controls. I was not offered the chance to see my kitchen with their VR tool. On top of that I was given 2 days to make a decision about the kitchen before the sale ended. So I felt a little pressurised as they “couldn’t” hold the quote past the sale end date. Despite other companies being willing to do the same. However overall the look of the kitchen from Wren seemed the best, and everything was ok, so I secured it. Once that had happened, I started to have some questions regarding the layout, because now I had access to the plans. These plans weren’t very clear or user friendly. When I contacted my designer to ask these questions she dodged and ignored my emails. When the kitchen arrived the delivery crew were very attentive and efficient, even delivered at 7am which gave my fitter a headstart. However I don’t have enough room in my house/kitchen to open every box. So as the fitter started going through the units and building things, he found multiple damaged boards and doors. Every day I came home from work and there was another damaged item. Wren’s customer service team were good on the phone and didn’t argue, or ask for proof etc, they sent out replacements no hassle. The issues were that initially we had to wait 2 days for the first replacement (Mon-Wed). A week for the 2nd replacement (Tues-Tues), 3 days for the next (Wed-Sat), 4 days for the next two (Mon-Fri) then 4 days for the last (Fri-Tues). This final delivery was even the wrong item, needing another couple of days to wait for the right piece. This meant the kitchen took from Saturday 8th February to Thursday 27th February to fit a kitchen that was estimated at about 10 days. This incurred extra charges from my fitter given he had to come back a lot later. Wren refunded me £59 delivery charges and discounted an extra purchase by £50 as compensation. As to that extra purchase; their kickboards are smaller than industry standards and so the units are slightly lower down, meaning there’s a gap between the worktop and the tiles I was keeping from my old kitchen. Only about 10mm so too small to tile in there without it looking awful. So I either had to retile the entire kitchen or get upstands. Both were about the same price so I bought upstands. However the biggest problem I had was with the design of the kitchen. It’s hard for me to fully piece together the full picture. Ultimately though I have 20cm in each corner of my kitchen that isn’t being utilised. This is because they only put in 80cm units either end when 100cm would have fit. They said something about it throwing off the central/symmetrical look when we spoke to them but I don’t see how. A 300cm wall. 2x100cm plus an 800cm central drawer unit should have fit. I think the issues were with only fitting in 40cm doors on the 100cm units but that should have been manageable. Earlier I mentioned a carousel causing the issue and I say that because I think they might only have a carousel that will fit on a 40cm door or an 80cm unit and instead of offering me bigger units/doors without the carousel, they didn’t. In the end I don’t even have the carousel on as I already have 20cm less space and I can reach inside easily without it. I thought the pull out carousel would help to reach the far corners without climbing inside, assuming I’d have another 20cm on the width. Even with this plan however, the central drawers (80cm) weren’t even central to the kitchen. And the extractor fan (60cm wide unit) wasn’t in line properly with the hob/drawers below. So my fitter had to almost redesign the entire thing and offset certain units to align everything. This created an extra wide fillet one side where he had to shift everything but he was able to make it all work using one of the damaged doors to place a fake glossy unit in there which looks like a pull out vertical drawer, rather than having an obvious fillet. So overall, thanks to my fitter I have a kitchen I’m ultimately happy with. But that’s with no thanks to Wren, aside for the quality of the actual units themselves, the ones that weren’t damaged.

customer service is appalling Wren I’m appalled with your after care, 6 months on and still waiting for a resolution, my high gloss kitchen are chipping, after the salesman quoted they were solid, there actually covered with a thin spray of gloss, my doors have gaps where there not aligned, the edging on my work tops are very sharp, enough is enough now, I’m taking it further, my high gloss wicks kitchen I had before was a far better quality than the new wren unhappy is a understatement!!
