We did have a few problems with the design of our kitchen, but got a partial refund after several calls and visits to the showroom. Let's just say that if you have to modify any cabinets to complete the design you should know that it voids the warranty, the sales people won't tell you.
But after that...
Some of the soft-close hinges are already failing (6 months). The rubber pads that go on the inside of the doors keep falling off.
Ready-built cabinets sound like a good idea, but just means that when they are slightly out of square you are stuck with it.
The legs don't fit on the oven housing with drawer under, there is a bodgy fix described on an extra bit of paper in the box.
We got the premium laminate tops. The edging is bumpy and has marks on it from the heat when it was applied (in the factory). We also had a specially made thick piece of worktop for our hob, it had several small marks on the top, nothing too obvious. We chose to live with it rather than go another 4 weeks without a kitchen while we waited for a replacement.
If you opt for painted oak, don't be fooled, this only applies to the doors. The plinths and end panels etc are all MDF or chipboard and the MDF corner posts are a different shade to everything else, plus the doors have warped slightly since install, mostly noticeable on the larder door because it is bigger.
