I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help others make an informed decision.
I recently hired Molly Maid for a standard home cleaning. Everything seemed fine until I noticed something deeply concerning. I keep emergency cash stored in a container in my closet — a private area that was not supposed to be accessed during cleaning.
On Sunday, I personally counted $300 in that container, bundled in rubber bands with the date written on it. On Monday, Molly Maid came to clean. On Tuesday, my wife checked the container and noticed there was only $100 inside.
She initially thought it was her money and asked where the rest went. I explained that her separate $300 was in a different cash box, untouched. But the emergency stash I counted two days earlier was now missing $200.
The only people who had access to that part of the house were the Molly Maid cleaners. Our small children are too young to reach the shelf where the container was stored, and no one else entered the home during that time.
Yes, we called Molly Maid Services and made a formal complaint. We also filed a police report. I wish I had cameras in that room — but now I know for next time. Be careful who you let into your home.
This experience left us feeling robbed and violated. I would not use their services again, and I strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.
