I engaged Writers of USA in May 2024, investing $16,800 for marketing services and the printing of my book. By the end of July 2024, their delivery has been unsatisfactory, consisting only of a website and a few PDFs outlining vague plans for social media promotion.
Jordan Smith, who presented himself as the Marketing Director, contacted me shortly after the initial agreement, attempting to upsell additional services and claiming that 7,000 copies of my book had been pre-sold. Despite repeated requests for proof of these pre-sales and confirmation of the book's printing, no evidence has been provided.
Two weeks ago, a person named Isaack, who claimed to be the owner, assured me that he would investigate the matter. However, no further action has been taken, nor has any evidence been supplied.
I believe this organization is engaging in fraudulent practices. They have a polished website and a responsive initial communication but fail to deliver on their promises, instead stringing clients along while taking their funds. I have filed a complaint with the FBI for wire fraud, as my payments were made via bank transfer to a company named Technoboxer LLC at Bank of America.
I strongly advise against engaging with Writers of USA, regardless of the excuses they may offer. Their assurances are entirely deceptive.
