I've had many good purchases from Aliexpress, but whenever anything went wrong they handled it so badly that I no longer feel safe to buy from them any more. I've received broken items they wouldn't refund me for, and once I never received an item that they refused to refund me for.
So It comes down to, do the saving outweigh the gamble of receiving broken items, or not receiving the item at all.
