Mystery Box - SCAM - My £37 mystery box turned out to be very poor value, as the mobile charging pad included was selling for just £10 elsewhere. This wasn’t a genuine deal, but rather a tactic to sell items at an over inflated price under the guise of a bargain, paired with a crafty no-returns policy. While I love the brand and my earphones that I’ve previously purchased, this experience has left me extremely disappointed and feeling cheated. I’m genuinely upset that I fell for this.
Plenty of other examples on Facebook with reference to this.
Scot Orr “Don’t bother with a mystery gift whilst Black Friday is on, value of items received lower that the mystery box cost due to sale prices. Disappointed this wasn’t taken into account.”
Sean Blows “Absolute junk. I bought 4 mystery boxes. Was like a bag of Temu rejects. Everything chucked in a bag. Don't know what was for what mystery item.
Feel absolutely robbed.
Won't be buying Anker again.
Just missing the W”
Christipher Hobson “scam!!! My £75 mystery box contained a £19.99 charging adapter that likely cost around £2 to make!”
Had I seen reviews like this myself I would never had purchased. The items on Amazon would have cost me £10 from their own selling page. AVOID.
When someone receives good service, they might share it with one out of ten people. But when they experience bad service, they’ll tell ten out of ten. I’m taking this review and social media as an opportunity to make sure thousands are aware of this unscrupulous behavior.
