Placed an order last month but had selected my existing delivery address in error.
I spotted the error and rang customer services to try amend the delivery address only to be told it had been dispatched!! - I find this hard to believe as the order was placed late in the evening and I rang first thing the following morning 8am.
About an hour after the call, I received another email from Argos saying the order had been dispatched to my existing address!!! - I find it absolutely bizarre that you can't amend or cancel an order online once it's has been placed - It has to be delivered first then returned for a refund. - I have no idea if the order was returned and am still waiting for a refund (1+ month later!).
Argos need to have a look at how their competitors work, I frequently use Amazon and have never had an issue trying to cancel/amend orders!
