I am absolutely distraught, waited all day yesterday for delivery of American fridge freezer time slot 4-6pm and no show. contacted their chat line and told van broke down. Asked why I was not informed of this as I had been waiting for it to be delivered and they had both my email and telephone number? I am disabled and have no refrigerator to keep my milk or other foods, I was told when I telephoned that it may still be delivered up to 10pm. Wish I had seen all these reviews before I had placed an order with them, still no contact from them today about delivery, stay well away from this company, pathetic excuses given for non delivery as surely they would send a replacement van to deliver the goods to their customers, if it was really the case that the van had broke down.

I purchased an Epson printer 13 months ago with a 1-year manufacturer warranty and paid £57.99 for a 3-year extended guarantee from Argos. When the printer failed beyond repair, Argos issued a replacement voucher but simultaneously cancelled my extended guarantee without offering any refund or the option to transfer it to the replacement unit. I paid for three years of coverage and have only received 13 months of protection. Argos is refusing to either refund the remaining £38+ for the unused guarantee period or honour the full term I purchased. This means I've effectively lost two years of paid coverage through no fault of my own. Customers who buy extended guarantees expect continuous protection for the advertised duration, not coverage that vanishes when you actually need to use it. This practice feels like taking payment for a service they have no intention of fully providing.

What is it about this company that is everything a good company doesn't want to be. Especially things like laptops, tablets and most phones. The majority are outdated models bought for peanuts and sold on at exorbitant prices. Always look elsewhere first as they are likely to be cheaper.

The drivers from this delivery company are absolutely ridiculous. They clearly don’t care about customers and do everything they can to avoid doing their job. The first driver didn’t call me an hour before, as Argos promised, and then claimed there was “no parking space” — which is a lie, because there is parking behind my building. And after that excuse, he cancelled the delivery altogether. The second driver didn’t call, didn’t show, and didn’t even bother answering the phone. The third driver only delivered my washing machine because I told customer service I was going to cancel the entire order. I am done with Argos. I will never buy from them again. Their delivery times take a full week, and their drivers simply don’t care about anything.

RIP off mis-selling of policies which they state on website and app run after the manufacturer’s warranty finishes…but once you have bought the policy it will state the the policy starts at the date of purchase RIP off Argos and lousy customer service BEWARE

I had the worse possible service with Argos. The product I bought turned rusty for no reason, after 5 months. I revised to refund me but made some arrangements to deliver and collect the old hob. The time slots given were ridiculous and one cannot fit into it - paying someone to dismantle the old hob and making him wait for 3 hours ( the slot given by Argos) to install the replacement hob that is supposed to be delivered by the Argos guys. No narrower slot. No accommodating of customer’s request. All that for the faulty product inserted below. Argos levels has dropped significantly. Once that was a good shop!! Shame!

Ordered some earphones because I needed them the next day at work. They didn't arrive at the store eventhough it said they would. Ordered them to my house instead, they were faulty. Booked a return collection, they collected on 15th November. After the collection they deleted my order number from their systems so I couldnt contact any customer service teams. I had to buy a pencil case in the end to get a new order number so I could get through to someone. Once through, they said they refused to give a refund without proof of return. It was literally collected from my house, what proof would I have? They don't give you anything when they collect a return. Absolutely shambolic from start to finish. Avoid Argos, just shop at Amazon, like I should have done in the first place.

🌟 The Support I Didn’t Know I Needed 🌟 When I reached out to Michael Andrew, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. But from the very first conversation, Michael brought a sense of calm and reassurance that immediately lifted a weight off my shoulders. He worked with integrity, communicated openly, and showed genuine care for my situation. Every promise was followed through, every concern was met with understanding, and the final outcome exceeded all my expectations. 🌺 Michael isn’t just professional — he’s compassionate, trustworthy, and truly exceptional at what he does. I’ll forever be grateful for his help. 💕

Ordered a wardrobe. Arrived with noticeable damage to front left hand corner. Called customer service to report which took over half hour with most of the time spent on hold. Was offered £50 in full & final payment but operator wouldn’t wait for us to quickly unpack the rest so would have entailed another half an hour call so accepted. Opened package and outer right side and uber left side both damaged. Nothing we could do £275 for a damaged wardrobe. For £50 could have bought secondhand with less damage. Appalling wualiru product

Purchased a clothes dryer and it broke in 1 month and they said its my fault for putting weight on it. So I said I put wet clothes from my washing machine. Clearly it broke in a pivot point where most dryers break... Never again Argos, amazon from now on

It’s rare to find a support team that genuinely listens and acts with such precision, but THOMAS and his team did exactly that. They went beyond expectations — reviewing my issue from every angle, keeping me informed daily, and ensuring complete resolution. Their dedication, empathy, and skill left a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking dependable, client-focused service. #CustomerSatisfaction #TrustworthySupport

I had the most horrendous experience trying to contact a human being at customer service. I tried to place an order online but for some reason it wouldn’t accept my nectar points against the order. You can’t phone a helpline if you don’t have an order number so you have to chat to an AI assistant and once you’ve gone through all that rigmarole you’ll get to chat to someone who doesn’t understand what the issue is really about. After a very lot of wasted time they finally gave me a phone number. It turned out this phone number was to do with Nectar cards and before you get put through to a person you have to once again go through various questions etc. I finally got through to a human being but his English was so poor I wasn’t able to get him to understand my issue. At that point I gave up, shopped elsewhere, got the item for the same price with free postage and it’s arriving today - lesson learned. If you shop in-store it’s great but if you need to call them it’s just the most shocking service and it doesn’t work

Having purchased a Shark Wandvac 2.0 from the Warminster branch, I took it home opened the box and looked through parts before assembling them. The wand vac is made of very brittle plastic. I decided it was too poorly made and flimsy so decided to return it. The power base would not pull apart for repacking and I didn’t want to risk breaking it. This was all explained at the counter but the return was aggressively refused. It appears that unpacking an item and plugging it in is deemed using it - though no vacuuming took place. The fact the power base does not disassemble could be thought a fault, didn’t occur to me until somebody pointed it out. I saw another customer refused a refund on a hairdryer and somebody else with a product I couldn’t identify. I would not recommend the product or Argos for fair business.
