It’s rare to find a support team that genuinely listens and acts with such precision, but THOMAS and his team did exactly that. They went beyond expectations — reviewing my issue from every angle, keeping me informed daily, and ensuring complete resolution. Their dedication, empathy, and skill left a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking dependable, client-focused service. #CustomerSatisfaction #TrustworthySupport

I had the most horrendous experience trying to contact a human being at customer service. I tried to place an order online but for some reason it wouldn’t accept my nectar points against the order. You can’t phone a helpline if you don’t have an order number so you have to chat to an AI assistant and once you’ve gone through all that rigmarole you’ll get to chat to someone who doesn’t understand what the issue is really about. After a very lot of wasted time they finally gave me a phone number. It turned out this phone number was to do with Nectar cards and before you get put through to a person you have to once again go through various questions etc. I finally got through to a human being but his English was so poor I wasn’t able to get him to understand my issue. At that point I gave up, shopped elsewhere, got the item for the same price with free postage and it’s arriving today - lesson learned. If you shop in-store it’s great but if you need to call them it’s just the most shocking service and it doesn’t work

Having purchased a Shark Wandvac 2.0 from the Warminster branch, I took it home opened the box and looked through parts before assembling them. The wand vac is made of very brittle plastic. I decided it was too poorly made and flimsy so decided to return it. The power base would not pull apart for repacking and I didn’t want to risk breaking it. This was all explained at the counter but the return was aggressively refused. It appears that unpacking an item and plugging it in is deemed using it - though no vacuuming took place. The fact the power base does not disassemble could be thought a fault, didn’t occur to me until somebody pointed it out. I saw another customer refused a refund on a hairdryer and somebody else with a product I couldn’t identify. I would not recommend the product or Argos for fair business.

Argos used to be a trusted retailer - where you could take faulty goods back and actually talk to a person ! What Happened To The Old Argos ?? We bought a new lawnmower (expensive cordless - McGregor - their own brand). It came with 2yr warranty. Well before the 2yrs it started to fail to charge properly. Just weeks after the 2yrs it failed completely - either battery or charger. I've contacted Argos EIGHT times - a mix of letters (by Recorded Delivery to Widnes HQ), emails, phone calls, and even going on Facebook (shockingly, this seems to be their preferred method of conducting customer communications!!)...but ALL TO NO AVAIL. They haven't replied to a single comm...not a phone call, or an email, or a letter, or a reply on FB. It's as if they've just disappeared! So Citizens Advice said I've got no choice but to start an action in the Small Claims Court. What a hassle...and what a pity that one of the trusted UK companies can have deserted their post !

I am extremely disappointed with Argos. I purchased two electrical items totaling £338, both of which were faulty. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue—being passed back and forth between the Hawick store and online support five times—I have received no refund or replacement. The staff in the Hawick branch were rude and unhelpful. Told me to drive a further 35 minutes to a different store on top of the 25 minutes to my local store if I ‘wanted a manager’. Obsessed with using the word ‘discretion’ and when I said we’ll replace the forms then if it’s at your discretion they replied they wouldn’t. I was told that the items being faulty was my fault because I had tested them. How can anyone know if an electrical item is faulty without testing it? This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend Argos and feel strongly that this approach to customer service is misleading and unfair. Will never use them again.

Argos turned in to a scam! Was not allowed to return a product after purchased a few days earlier because box had signs that it's been opened. Staff just don't care absolute disgrace.... no wonder company is still barely alive while everyone else is booming

Argos did not make me happy at all My birthday was on the 10th of September, and as a surprise, my daughter arranged for a special delivery of a refrigerator for my present. On the 15th of September. She took the day off work, and I did the same, so we could receive the order together. Unfortunately, the delivery never arrived. We were told that the delivery could not be made due to the weather, which was very confusing as the conditions cleared, and no further attempt was made. I tried to track the order online, but the order number was no longer recognised. When I contacted customer care, I was given inconsistent information, including being confused with another customer and being told to return goods I never even received. I was also assured that someone would call me back, but no one ever did. As a result: 1. Both my daughter and I lost a full day of work waiting for a delivery that never arrived. 2. We had already removed our old fridge in preparation, which caused all of our food to spoil. 3. What should have been a thoughtful birthday surprise was completely ruined, leaving us both very disappointed. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, expense, and frustration. I expect Argos to take responsibility for this matter by providing an immediate resolution, including a delivery as soon as possible and appropriate compensation for the wasted food, wasted time and ruined occasion

Ordered a television from Argos online. Delivery date Thursday 18th September between 7am and 9pm. Waited in all day, no television. Called customer service and was assured it would arrive Friday between 7pm and 9pm. Still no television. Will never buy from Argos again.

I am deeply disappointed with Argos and their handling of my refund. I cancelled an order for two toddler cot beds nearly 6 weeks ago, yet I have only received a refund for one. Despite contacting customer services multiple times and speaking to five different representatives, I am repeatedly given vague excuses such as “it has been escalated” or “it’s been dealt with.” Nothing has actually been resolved. As a mother of twins, this missing refund is not something I can afford to simply let go. What makes this worse is the lack of accountability and genuine support from Argos. This is not the level of service I expected from a brand I once trusted. Argos used to stand for reliability and good customer care, but sadly this experience has left me feeling ignored, let down, and questioning whether they value their customers at all. I would strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from Argos, as their customer service no longer reflects the trustworthy reputation they once had!

Ordered Bush fan for £20, same day delivery. Stopped working after two weeks but then started again. Finally broke down after 31 days. Returned to shop but they said I had to ring Customer Service first. After a fraught hour on the phone with three different advisors trying to download photos of the fan and box, I managed to get them to agree to give me my money back. Collected from home, money refunded. I am an elderly lady and will never order from Argos again. Dreadful returns policy. Avoid at all costs, it's not worth it!!

DO NOT SHOP here anymore ... they are essentially making me pay for a product 2 times, because of a payment system error. Customer service is very confused and not willing to help. If you have Argos card, better clear your balance and close your card....other services like Klarna are much better anyway. That is what I am going to do, after being their customer for years.

Terrible returns policy. I tried to return a colour tv because my husband didn’t like the quality of picture. There was no contrast and sometimes faint to watch. I tried to return tv after only 13 days but they wouldn’t give me a refund as they said it had been used? How can you possibly tell if a colour tv is any good unless you unpack it and watch it?? Very unhappy customer and I won’t be using Argos again and I think I shall make a complaint with Trading Standards.

Absolutely shocking service I’ve had 2 ovens ordered for 2 weeks now and still no delivery. Can’t get any help from customer services. I have just been offered a refund for £808 but to reorder it’s going to cost me £898 so I’m £90 worse off . All because they have a glitch in the system. Very very poor customer service. I’m stuck now with no ovens to cook food and I’m in no better situation. If a manager gets to see this review please help me . Regards Richard & Louise French Order number 257881879

I've never had such a bad experience. Orderer a bed to arrive the day I moved into a new property, paid the extra £20 fee for it to arrive at a specific time. Nothing arrived and I received 0 communication. I've now been told it's been reschedule for two weeks time!! So I'm going to be sleeping on the floor for two weeks. There wasn't a single bit of communication to explain what happened, whether or not i'll get a refund/compensation or even a sorry!! Absolutely fuming.

Bought a fridge from Argos. The price was the same as every other seller but Argos had an offer of free recycling of my old fridge. There was no way to select this offer it was put on automatically. I also asked for assistance in a shop and the staff member also couldn't find the option to select recycling and I was informed it's automatic. When my purchase was delivered they had no record of the recycling offer and refused to take my old fridge. Update: Argos never responded back to my enquiries and after me following up several times was told there is nothing they can
