Bought a Seksy Ladies Watch online for same day delivery, arrived on time. Watch did not work. Braclet was very small and short of adjustment apart from the extra link supplied even then it was too small for comfort. Returned to Argos outlet for refund, which was dealt with very efficiently

I have attempted to purchase a lawnmower from Argos but this has been to no avail. The company confirmed it being available on their website and in-store on the touch-screen devices, however when you go to pay, the screen informs you that the item is no longer available. This is very misleading as I was near resorting to travelling out a fair distance to be able to collect it from the only store in the country that said it was in stock.

Argos has gone downhill Badly over the past year or possibly since Sainsbury’s took them over and got their feet under the table. Now they rarely have stock available and I can rarely get delivery of large items with a message that’s says no delivery available in your area. Customer service online chat takes forever as it seems the person on the other end just keeps saying “ I’m sorry for keeping you waiting “ and they have no idea about customer service nor knowledge of what to do and then you get a very unhelpful response. As another reviewer mentioned “ Argos used to be good but now they’re the store/ company to avoid and I intend to do just that.

Argos were very fair, they replaced a faulty telephone with a more expensive one, the exchange to be made by Yodel! And there lies the problem, got within 5 miles and 5 deliveriesof us and claimed they couldn't access the property. I know they didn't because we had a trail cam on the drive, no-one came. We actually followed the parcel online, I know where they got to and didn't try to deliver. I will not be able to use Argos again while they use Yodel, sorry Argos!

Went to Kilburn Argos from Watford as only place that had my much wanted item It was a heavy item and they did not offer a delivery option of the heavy item Found a car park in Kilburn, which had a delivery door of Argos in the basement, the friendly car park man in market car park offered to help me with package to car from said door! Went into Argos and asked them if they could put my item in the lift to the basement , No! Health and Safety , why? ‘Can I put the item in your lift to the basement car park? No! Why? Health and safety Then I asked for a trolley to take to car park myself, oh ok, but you need to leave a deposit, ok that’s fine, then ‘No, sorry you can’t have a trolley after all, due to covid😂 After several discussions amoungst themselves including a manager Are we not a loud to have trolleys at the supermarket? You couldn’t make it up When I explained that I had travelled from Watford, that didn’t offer delivery of heavy item , finally one of the men must of decided it was crazy ,what they were saying, and kindly agreed to put the box in the lift! Would like to say thank you to that shop Assistant Who saved the day and had common sense , Argos please don’t sell items that are heavy and can’t be transferred to a nearby car/van and maybe mention on your website if your store does not have a nearby car park or trolleys Argos please give your employee a medal and promotion for basic customer service & Common sense

Paid by telephone. The payment reference number is said twice, but so quickly it is impossible to write down. The anything else query: you have to guess what the options might be. It should say "If there is anything else, say'yes'.''

BROADWAY WARDROBE 815/4329 I don't understand how all other reviews are 5 stars, I'm  being generous affording it 3. The wardrobe is made in Poland and the instructions must have been translated from Polish because there's quite a few typos and bits that don't make sense. ( I was given the wrong hinges and it wasn't until the 5th go that they managed to send the correct ones..which took nearly 3 weeks in total. They had different instructions....and a previous reviewer I came across had the same thing so obviously Argos are not committed to improving things) There are no pre drilled holes so it's tricky to get the screws through the plastic coating. When fitting the 'wedgefixes' to keep the back board in place, this became a problem. The screws just slipped down as you turned them (it said not to use a power driver) and came through the front. The screws were too long anyway, we think. (The wedgefixes came with fitted screws (angled) in, so there's no error on our part) It looks a real mess and if I saw it in a shop in that state I would not buy it, even as a 'second'. I expected better from Argos. I will not be buying anything else from them.

Bought a wood effect duck lamp and duvet cover set from Longwater store. The duvet cover listing online and in store said it was easy care polyester cotton but when I paid and collected it, the packaging said cotton so not easy care and cannot be tumble dried so was refunded which took days to reach account. When I got home with lamp and took it out of the box the lamp was placed upside down in the box, there was no protective packaging inside apart from a couple of bits of cardboard, the foot of the duck was broken off and on closer expection one other foot looked like it had been previously broken off and repaired. No more duck lamps available in this store or city centre store and nearby Sainsbury’s haven’t got one either. Don’t they check goods returned to them or have quality control at their factory? Wanted to leave a review as all reviews for duvet set and duck lamp are favourable.

Argos did NOT make me happy. I bought a Bosch grass strimmer in March. I now need replacement cutting Cord and find Argus do not sell this. I contacted customer service and was told " ring Bosch"..not very helpful. I will stick to the garden centre in future. Argos sell printers and inks why not strimmers and cutting cords??

I’ve given those number of stars for their delivery service, in-store service and quickly rectifying an issue with a product bought from them. They lost two stars from me because of the appalling service I got from their Argos card team! My card expired some time last year which I should have received a month or two before the expiry. This didn’t happen for a while so I called them up in October last year to find-out where my card was and updated my address as I moved the month of it’s expiry. Only to speak to their team today to find-out they closed that account without even so much as informing me about doing so! I only requested that the card be blocked so nobody can use it instead the individual closed my account completely!!! How does that even make any sense seriously? I don’t even know how it sounds like the same thing really. The person I spoke to sounded very entitled when they said sorry you’ll have to reapply for another account if you want to use an Argos card!! Anyway, I would leave the three stars just because apart from this issue, I’ve enjoyed shopping at Argos but let me just tell you guys that if you keep pilling up disgruntled customers, you’ll soon have a problem on your hands as PC world et all now do price match making it no longer advantageous to shop with you guys.

Be Careful when receiving a refund Or paying on a payment plan on your Argos Card . For some unknown reason it appears Argos choose what plan your refund and payment is put on any outstanding plans that they choose Today I’ve noticed due to this I’ve been charged interest (which I shouldn’t have been as I pay my monthly statement in full ) so even when you go on the app and tap on the payment plan of your choice & make payment it’s not always generated on to it So Beware & Check your statements & plans as this appears very suspicious to me and a way of charging interest which I shouldn’t be paying

Good buying experience, fast, easy website, good customer service. However, I saw signs my purchase was a return, from the packaging condition. I found some issues with the product. Please don't sell returned items without adequate testing.
