“Never written an actual review on Argos themselves. Having grown up with Argos I have considered them to be one of the primary shops to purchase items from homeware to electronics/computer related items. Their prices are competitive, but also the convenience is generally great.TZ”

“Argos were great but the large hacienda chiminea which we bought for a friend's birthday present has only just been built and they need to liaise with the manufacturer as there were no drill holes to attach the mesh door. This required a drill and not just the spanner and Phillips screw driver advised in the instruction leaflet. The chiminea was put together before this was noticed”

“Do not order from Argos, bought A kenwood attachment for my mixer, when it arrived it had no operating/safety booklet and a crucial part was missing so could not use it , , ,it was an obvious return which they had not checked. I paid £67 and expected a brand new product for my money. Online chat said had to wait until stores open to get a refund wasn't happy as they've got my money I've got a piece of worthless junk. If they cannot provide a returns collection from your home they should not be selling. Other parcel company's deliver and collect from private residences with no problem during lockdown and they do a brilliant job but Argos is using covid as an excuse to not provide a similar service shame on them ripoff won't be buying from them again just look forward to an 8hr queue to get a refund at one of their stores when they open behind everyone else:(”

“Good helpsorted out a suitable delivery date for big item but they could do with a technical advisor in every store like another unnamed retailer has who can make sure you know what to do when you get item home I had to be put through to panosonic helpline just to find out if my new phone needed to be switched on at handset to charge and the panosonic man seemed to have trouble grasping what I meant it was a simple question he said no I hope it works after the 7 hour charge or I will be cross ifi have to repeat it again as I was given wrong info”
