I ordered a kitchen unit set. It was a larger item for delivery only.
What was offered....
- delivery was next day between 12pm-4pm...paying £19.99 for express fast track service.
- Email confirmation would be sent with order number.
- £199.97 was paid using my debit card.
What was provided....
1. Item was not delivered
2. No email confirmation received, so no order number to track.
3. Payment was taken 3 times, the bank said Argos had my money already through the faster payment service.
I called Argos 5 times and each time I repeated my details only for them to tell me I was not on their system. No apology. No concern or care.
The bank confirmed yet again that Argos did have the money the whole £659.88. Argos refused to acknowledge that I was even a customer. The bank provided me with the payment reference numbers and Argos are now looking into it, however it will take them 48-72 hours before someone will call me back. I doubt they will and I will have to chase them. I'm in the middle of renovating and I can't believe they have taken this amount from me and university nothing to show for it. This has delayed my decorating and house move and left me with very little money to pay my bills or buy the things I need to buy.
The bank say they will open up a dospute after 48hours so patiently waiting now!
Shocking service I will never shop at Argos again and I cannot believe the ratings on here are so bad. Wish I had read them first.
Argos do not care they just want your money. AVOID so rude also!
