purchased a washing machine and on the website said it was available and in 48 hours would receive a call to arrange delivery, no call then missed a call on withheld and did not hear for a further few days. had to chase argos to arrange. then the delivery date was a month away! i called customer service to see why they could not do it earlier and it was explained the machine came from abroad. which i had accepted as we needed the machine. the machine is to be delivered in two days time after waiting a month to receive a text saying the machine will not be delivered. no explanation no alternative dates. NOTHING! now im having to chase argos to be told the machine is out of stock! are you kidding me out of stock after waiting a month. and was told the machine can not sit in the warehouse waiting and if someone else orders they send the order to them.. how is that customer service as we had ordered and waited ages. if they had the machine then bloody deliver it earlier!! do not just give someone elses machine to another customer. so they have made one customer very unsatisfied which i have got a full refund and will take my money elsewhere. i will not be using argos for any purchases again. shame really as i am a property manager and work in an estate agents and we do require purchasing alot of items that argos sell but in my eyes it is them who have lost out. better companies with better customer service. no compensation had been given. USELESS!!
