Wanted to purchase a Vax vacuum cleaner here in Dublin. Curry's had it for 169euro. Argos had identical product for 219 euro, a full 50 euros more! As my local Argos is more convenient I phoned and asked if they would match the Curry's price. They refused. Naturally I went to Curry's. I will certainly be checking prices before I return to Argos next time.Fifty euros is a lot of money for me to give away.
