I've just been to the North Finchley shop to either exchange or return an item I bought as part of the 2 for £15 offer on toys. I waied in a queue to ask if I could either exchange or return the item and a lady told me that I could return. I asked her if I would get half of the £15 or not, considering each item separately costs £10. She assured me I would get £7.50 and wrote on my recept £7.50 cash back, but asked me to go to another queue to get it. I then waited in another big queue for a long time as the shop was very busy to be told I wouldn't get £7.50, but only £5. I am very annoyed as I believe that the shop should have trained the staff beter, so I wouldn't have waited in two queues to be told 2 different things. If the first lady had told me in the first instance that I would have been better off exchanging the item instead of not getting the full £7.50 I would have been more than happy doing that. It's not about the money I am complaining about, but about me wasting my time to get told two different things. I believe Argos had seen better days.
