Just found out that if you work in the education sector you can get up to 60% off your shop. Moreover, it’s not just teaching staff but includes caretakers and cleaners too. WHY.
I shop at Asda everyday for my family’s food etc, and spend approximately £200 a week. This is in the region of 50% of my income I can’t afford to subsidise other households particularly when they earn more than me. Apparently Sainsbury’s offer a similar scheme for that employment sector too.
Well as I now know this, as from today I won’t be party to this discriminatory injustice it’s like a private stealth tax. I will do my shopping at Aldi and Lidl in future they’re cheaper too.
